im sitting here at work doing nothing, so I thought I'd throw you some ideas your way. How bout a season long contest for football(NFL or college or both) where all the participants play every week just like a real season, and then at the end a certain # make the playoffs. Like for the NFL, you would play the first 13 weeks or so in a schedule format, then the playoffs would be after that. All head to head. I dont know could be interesting, maybe too complicated, maybe not. The same could be done for NBA and college bball.
maybe have a 10-12 team league and you would pick college football teams. Then only your teams that you pick throughout the season you get 2 bet on.
say its a 10 team league each Fantasy team would have 10 college teams to choose from every week.
Then say you would be allowed to bet up to 10 units minimum 3 games a week. most units won per week would win the matchup.
It would be head 2 head set up.

i was thinking. You would have a 16-50 guy league, how many people want to sign up, the more the merrier, hopefully get some books to splash some cash. Then you would have league play for 12 or 13 weeks, depending on how large we made the playoffs, either 8,12, or 16 teams. the first week, for example I would play Madcapper, we would each pick say 5 games and pick a score as a tiebreaker on the monday night game, I I go 3-2 and he goes 2-3, I win my game week 1 and move to 1-0. At the end of the season, I would be 12-0, and would be a #1 seed in the playoffs. get it?

May I humbly suggest you have stepped on it with your 1000 post rule for the football contest. There are many loyal forum members that have been around for quite some time yet don't post just for the sake of running up numbers.
I agree there needs to be a method for rewarding loyalty, perhaps having been registered for a certain period of time. Remember that the real value of a forum member is determined by whether one does business with the advertisers and lets them know you were referred by the RX.
