Wow 1987, one of my favorite songs too....

Notice Bono with the broken arm- I happened to be at the D.C. RFK stadium show where he slipped on the rainy stage and broke his arm....the next night I remember reading Bruce Springsteen had joined him on stage.

Also Little Steven opened for U2 at the DC show I was at. Sil on the Sopranos.

Cannot believe that was 20 years ago...one of my top 3 all time viewed concerts for sure.

WOW! That is pretty wild...not that hard to imagine as I'm sure many would have been at that show, U2 was at the height of their greatness, 50,000 plus fans in the rain....I was on the field too!

We got there so early that day, I remember walking around the vicinity looking for food, not a good idea down there, There is nothing around that park! Not to mention the area is pretty bad.

Another time we went to a Redskins game , vs Houston in 1991 couldn't get a ticket and had to watch the game across the street at this old rundown golf country club, and lets just say we were in the minority!

point being everywhere around RFK is at best unsafe.
