With Josh Gordon's troubled tenure with the Cleveland Browns coming to an end, the talented wide receiver has two places where he hopes to land if he is traded, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter: the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys.
The team announced Saturday night that it intends to release the former Pro Bowl wide receiver on Monday. Multiple league sources told Schefter on Saturday that they believe Cleveland will trade Gordon before Monday, adding that teams already are calling the Browns. A source told Schefter on Sunday that the Browns prefer to trade Gordon out of the AFC.
Gordon is a vested veteran and is not subject to waivers. If he is cut by the Browns, he will become a free agent. If another team trades for Gordon, he will play this season for his minimum salary and can be tendered after the season.

Once upon a time they had a TE that sorta was not as bad as gordon
and he appeared to be a model citizen for a few years, never a problem around the team or in the clubhouse and very productive on the field

Somebody should have picked him up just to keep him away from the Patriots. They basically aren't out anything. If he doesn't work out they get a draft pick just 2 rounds lower than what they gave up. If it does work out....look out. He will potentially be the best WR they have had since Moss and all they gave up was a 5th round pick who would be 50/50 at best to make the team. This could be a bad day for the Patriot haters.
