If Bones comes in and fights like he did vs OSP ... fat Dan will beat him.

If Jones does jump to HW, he can easily beat 60%+ on that HW list.

Outside the top couple fighters, The HW division is Trash just filled with old gas cans.

The biggest question mark for the rematch is DC's ability to hand fight. DC can't win the striking game at distance, he's not long enough. He won't be able to take Jon down. His strategy, once again, will be to drive him against the cage with an underhook and beat him with the other hand. In the last fight, Jon countered this by reaching through the whizzer hand (his over hook), reaching across DC's body and grabbing DC's free hand. At that point, he was able to control both hands with his whizzer hand and strike with his knees and free hand to the open side. DC has to have a strategy to counter that, but I'm sure Greg Jackson has a list of counters to the potential counters DC may have. But that's where the fight will be won. I personally think the best bet will be DC +5.5. I think he will win a few rounds and it'll be closer.

Jones already has the blue print on how to beat this guy but honestly I'm concerned after watching that OSP fight. He kept saying over and over how ready he was and what a show he was going to put on and IMO looked like complete dog shit vs the #6 fighter who fought with a broken arm for 15+ minutes.

I'm a big Jones fan but IMO the value in this fight is on the fat ass around +240 ... hard to back Jones after last Saturdays performance

I would favor Jones against all of the HWs except Werdum, which would be a toss-up. Fabricio is a bad match-up for anyone because he fights long, desires to be taken down and has choked out the two best HWs ever.

O-eth-P is a strange opponent. He has crazy awkward movement and is as strong as they come at 205.

Agree that OSP is a unique fighter, But if Jones is the GOAT shouldn't he have still overcome all the awkward stuff in a more dominating fashion especially with a year away from the cage ? At no point was he really in any position to put OSP away standing or on the ground. Maybe its just me but I think there has been some exposure in Jones' game the past few fights. He hasn't finished anybody since 2013 (Sonnen) ... Gustafsson beat his ass pretty good ... Cormier did some decent damage in their 1st fight. Sure grinding out decisions are wins but he really isn't levels ahead of these top fighters as some say he is. Again these are just my opinions.

Would Love to see him face Rumble Johnson next ... Jones could possibly get put to bed in that one ...

Top four bouts on UFC 200 have fighters with a combined record of 145-22-2 (73-15-2 UFC) with 35 UFC championship fight appearances.

I look at this way: OSP has been thinking about the game plan for jones for years. Jones had been thinking about OSP for a few weeks. So what is OSP's best gameplan? Make the fight last as looooong as possible and land a miracle haymaker. Explode out from the bottom to avoid Jon's top game. Jon's not a power striker. He wins with unanswered strikes from top or a sub from top.

Btw, rumble-jones would be great, I agree. Rumple would have the same gameplan as OSP, he just doesn't have as much gas.

It's very early but I have heard rumors of Bones / Rumble on that Madison Square Garden card ...

Other news I just heard ... Besides all his legal problem, Jones was also dealing with another big problem that was playing with his head maybe answering questions about his performance last weekend ...

Jones at todays UFC 200 presser ...

"A lot of you guys don't really realize what's been going on in my personal life. My mom is in a real bad position. She's really losing a fight to diabetes right now. She got her leg cut off the same week of my fight, so that really messed with me a lot".

LOL ... not a good fight ? LOL

Jones / Cormier is the best rivalry in the UFC

Conor buried himself. Nobody is bigger than the company and Dana / Lorenzo finally proved it.

Conor is only big to the casual fan ... Jon / Dan is big for the hardcore fan ... and at the end of the day, hardcore > money for this event.

The clown beat several smaller/older guys and he has no balls or talent/strength/speed to make it in his own division (HW)

DC wins

As for him in HW, he has no shot against any of the below - They would break him silly and I can't wait till that happens

Champion : Fabricio Werdum

He might have trouble versus Dos Santos, maybe Travis Browne but that is about it.

If DC couldnt take him down, doubt Cain would have any more success.

And with his long reach and iron chin, he would outpoint anyone rather easily

Your kidding right....they would rag doll Jones with ease. The HW's power/strength would beat him down easy. Jones has had trouble with true 185's who moved to 205. For those who don't know, he has sparred with AA and Overeem and they took him apart in each and every aspect. Jones has struggled with smaller guys the past 5 fights or so. There is a reason why he does not fight in his own division (HW) and he can thank Dana for that. They both know he has no shot
