Sources close to Sen. John McCain's presidential campaign are suggesting he will reveal the name of his vice presidential selection this week while Sen. Obama is getting the headlines on his foreign trip.

Mitt Romney is the favorite followed by LA Gov. Bobby Jindal.

I'm praying it's Romney because Romney is a pitbull and will go after Obama leaving the Chosen One stuttering and on the defensive, especially on the disastrous repercussions Obama's socialist policies will have on the economy.

Someone needs to jolt America out of this pathetic teenage crush for Obama and expose him for the far left RADICAL he is. Mitt Romney is the only one qualified to do that.

Bobby Jindal is a good pick, but if McCain picks him then he would essentially cede one of the main pillars of his argument against Obama: experience. Jindal isn't ready for prime time.

Well, I think he's losing most likely no matter who he picks, but given who is likely available (e.g. someone like Colin Powell is not available), I think Tim Pawlenty would be the best strategic choice for McCain.
