I would agree on NE if the line was 3 but Vegas setting the line at 6 scares me. Just seems like a trap knowing how good Brady is.

Isn't 6 a mind fuck to bet the favorite? They only need to win by a TD? 3.5 or 7.5 would scare me off Pats a lot more the reverse mind fuck, always take favorite at - 3.5, 7.5, 10.5, according to odds makers.

This will be as hostile an envrionmnet as you can get, if the Pats can get it done here I will be impressed.

A game that comes to mind was ravens at pats 2 years ago... Ravens beat houston and then played at pats after pats just beat tebow. And the line was +7 when it probably should of been 4 to 6. Ravens lost by a field goal. The cundiff shank. Lee evans drop.

bronco money will come because its peyton and hes at home

Whats insane is how Brady is trying to be the first ever to get to 6 superbowls. That is mind blowing and speaks volume

Brady and the Pats haven't won one since 2005 and since lost to two inferior New York Giant teams. They got beat twice by Eli and Tom isn't getting any younger. Gotta wonder if it isn't getting into Brady's head about whether he'll ever win another one.

For all the homers on NE, can at least one give a reasoning for a victory beyond Brady or their head coach?

running game? 267 and 234 in their last two games, that's peaking at the right time

turnover margin?

penalties? net penalties?

and you simply can't discount the fact about how well Bellichick game plans for Manning, hence he's 10-4 against the QB that has the second best winning % of the modern era

nor can you discount post season performance of the QB's, 18-7 vs 10-11. Is it weather related? arguably

but nothing about the post season and / or playing the Patriots is in Manning's head?

Haha.....was thinking the same thing. Perfect response to somebody that is looking at this with rose colored glasses on.

BOL with your Pats. I played Denver Wednesday but for not any reasons above....lol.

if you have 4.5, maybe we can both win

but that wouldn't make me very happy :). I'd still feel like I lost

Thats the point. The 2 most important pieces of any team, but will probably come down to a last second kick which may be more than 50 yards,...

Good question bro. I cant say much more without giving a lot away and i was only planning on giving away the record jinx because it is kind of simple. But the other stuff isnt and there are more reasons why i like new england to advance. Not just because the record jinx.

Don't you think it's ODD Vegas has the line at 6?? Denver blowout

I'm not even sure what this means?

the Pats are too good to be getting so many points so that means Denver wins in a blowout? I'm trying here

Oddsmakers opened this line high for a reason and they're accomplishing what they set out to do.
People are betting the DOG in enormous amounts.
Look for the Books to cash big!

Based off of the last few conference champion games in the last few years... The public has won a lot of them. Greenbay at chicago. Pittsburgh vs the jets. San fran last year had the higher %. Giants vs san fran. Public was on g men with alex smith playing.

Very foolish to base your play off of who vegas needs this weekend. Why ? Because the super bowl is afterwards and the viewers and the amount of money wagered is far more important to vegas than this weeekend. Public loses in the superbowl. Not here imo
