whenever the Padres are in a low-scoring tie game I almost expect them to win, they are pretty entertaining, some may call them boring because of their low-run output, but I love 'em and I love their style and that comes from someone in Atlanta (Braves)
the only way i lose today is if that game finishes SD & UNDER. if either the dodgers or over came out, would have made some profit.... but we see how that turned out.
Padres are the best "team" in the majors.. QUOTE=TEAM..
Not the best talent, 7-8 hitters are horrible but the Padres make the most out of what they got.. Surprising starting pitcher, amazing bullpen and some smart play is what they are all about..
I enjoy them too.. Going to see them on 8/5 @ Dodger stadium.

part of it was my fault not waiting for lineups to come out, but as i was watching the game, like Well-seasoned said, the lower the scoring the better chance the Padres pull through. It is nice to see a team actually have success with not many big name players. they get the job done though.
I'm assuming newly-acquired Miguel Tejada will be playing Friday night for the Padres, he could help some with some singles and doubles, his HR power is down the last few years due to old age and lack of supplements LOL, but it was a nice little pickup for them
