I am actually 6-0 on the year, but last week's picks (Ole Miss, UCF, and AZ State) could not be posted due to the server problems. So, if you strictly believe posted picks should be the record used, I am 3-0. If you know that I am not an attention whore and you believe me, then I am 6-0. Either way, it's been a nice start to the year.

-3.5 vs Kansas

USF was already looking forward to this game last week. They did not bring their best effort to Orlando. If you don't believe me, you should have listened to Matt Grothe's comments before that game (which is the reason I took UCF last week). They still dominated stat wise and would have probably covered or pushed had there not been a huge and quick change of mo right before the end of the game. Kansas had a great year last year but are still somewhat shaky on the road. They are also somewhat one-dimensional. I think it's folly to think they are going to move the ball up and down the field on USF and their superior speedy athletes. Plus, you have a Friday night nationally televised game. We saw what happened LY with that. WV had the revenge factor and a superior team and it still wasn't close. I think the USF defense brings it tonight and covers.

Well, that was a roller coaster. On to Saturday:

There appears to be so many better games on the board than this, and maybe there are. Why would I want to go against the Tigers offensive juggernaut at home? Believe it or not, there are some that think Nevada has the best offense in the WAC. They outgained and had a huge TOP edge against Texas Tech last week in a loss, proving they may be the most balanced team in that conference. Missouri has scored 52 in each of their first two games this season. My gut feeling is that they won't score that many this week and the Wolfpack will score enough to cover the number. The O/U is 70 which leads me to believe someone thinks that Nevada will get their share of points.

I am almost ready to pull the trigger on Notre Dame. More to come later.

Stupid, stupid, stupid. Mizzou could have scored 100 if they wanted to. Late games:

I don't think Washington can come back after last week's heartbreak. They have Jake Locker, but not much else. The Sooners will have their way in this one.

How often will you get the Buckeyes getting double digits? Sometimes you just gotta take a chance.
