You're trying to promote the notion that Joe Burrow isn't in the conversation at all, after he won the Championship, the Heisman, the Davey O'Brien and set every passing record available against seven top ten teams.

That's bullshit.

Oh, and Mack Donald.....did you know that Staubach did not attend the Naval Academy for four years? That's right, he transferred in for his Junior year and didn't achieve half of what Joe Burrow did. Your entire list is a bunch of guys that had great PRO careers....but don't come anywhere close to what Burrow did. Troy Aikman, Dan Marino, Brett Favre, Terry Bradshaw and Tom Brady.....GTFOH.

LSU Pete: When you start comparing and making statements that certain players are "all time greats" you are treading in an area that can be debated but never proven, it becomes a mater of opinion and conjecture, a man of your skill and knowledge as an Orthopedic Surgeon should know that....I'll say it again, "Joe Burrow had a great year", no other QB achieved the success he did ....this year. It will be interesting to see how Burrow's career in the NFL plays out over the years.

I look forward to seeing this kid in the nfl hopefully another maholmes type player on the rise. So many great college quarterbacks that have gone from hero to zero on the big stage is truly amazing. For every great ncaa/pro qb I wonder how many got washed up. Akilli Smith Ryan leaf Danny wuerffel Danny kennell John manzell Jesse Palmer . Burrow is definitely at an advantage with his size strength and mobility. The age of pocket passers is on a serious decline. Outside of Brady, rivers, luck gone , breeze , cousins ,Tannehill, Locke not sure haven’t watched him yet nfl is definitely in an unscripted offensive renaissance where extending plays is normal every down. Burrows wil flourish where ever he goes. Real curious what patriots do as much as I hate them get a few good moving parts and the end will just be the beginning.

Burrows had a great season and I think his skill set will do very well in the NFL, tall, athletic, strong arm, good touch, the whole package.

But to run around and say he was the GOAT in college is not close to being crebile, nor fair.

Burrows was surrounded by strong NFL beef, outstanding skill players on O, and a very good D (with NFL beef, too) got him back the ball, that helped. Eg, did Staubach have this? Most all that have been mentioned by comparison, did not.
