So you're ripping Joe Buck because the extra point meant something to a lot of people with money on the game, but meant nothing to the game itself? If you had the Vikings -5.5, you had already given up on that bet anyway & were lucky as shit to have had a chance at the cover. NFL needs to get rid of the rule of having to kick the extra point if a team scores on the last play of the game. Ridiculous rant because you lost money.
Do you invest much time in the NFL? Don't bother answering. That guy is paid to research a game for 6 fucking days before he goes on-air. Any intelligent on-air man is going to know what the spread and total is before that game starts and ends.
I lost a total of $10 today after cashing with Jax. It wasn't about the money. It was about a very climactic moment when the field was rushed and thousands of people who had 5.5 were waiting on pins and needles for the extra point. Aided greatly by the officials, after review, going on mic and saying the extra point would be tried. There was still a glimmer of hope that Forbath would kick one. Yet, Buck deemed it one of the most anticlimactic moments in history.
Al Michaels is the greatest play by play man in this generation because he gets it from all angles. Al would NEVER have made such an assinine statement.
This isn't a you win and I lose thing. Get a fucking clue. It's a Joe Buck is 3 zip codes away from being the greatest. And that moronic fucking statement at that point in the aftermath proved it.
