This is the worse beat ever. This isn't football with some fluke last second play. This horse was crossing the finish line first.

Gulfstream Park in Florida has something called the Rainbow 6, a pick-six that carries over each day if there’s not a single unique winner. For a mere 20 cents, bettors, if they select the winners of the day’s final six races, walk away with big money—on Thursday, the jackpot stood at $571,744. One better nailed the first five; in the last race, he had Cryogenic, an 8-1 shot. Cryogenic pulled away down the stretch. And then? Well, this was painful for everyone involved.

Try it is a rainbow pick 6. you only win it if there is one winning ticket. Going into the last race there were two horses where there was one live ticket.

i have to say i think its the worst beat i have ever seen. ive seen them all like everyone else has a hail mary, a miracle 3pter at the buzzer but this one is just in another stratosphere, even the race caller thought the horse had won the race. to be trapped behind horses and having a ton of horse then getting a lane and just drawing off, literally the only way the horse doesnt win is if the jockey falls off or the horse breaks down. and to be honest it would be more fathomable to swallow if the horse had broken down bc unfortunately those things happen bc they are 2000lb animals running on those skinny legs.

i sent this to my friends and i said i would have wanted to die and i would literally be inconsolable if i had held that ticket, id never get over it bc that kind of money for myself is life changing money.
