Ted, I am not sure what you have, or if there is a name or diagnosis for it.

But I have heard going on a all RAW FOOD diet has worked wonders. I have read it has cured cancers and many things. It is very difficult to do, I have tried in the past, but my willpower is not at par yet. I guess if I was faced with life or death, I would do it.

I heard the withdrawal from the toxins can be horrible. I am think of trying it after the holidays. I did an all fruit and veggie cleanse not long ago, and the change in engery level was amazing.

A good website with a support group that is very knowledgeable is www.rawfoodsupport.com, and www.rawfood.com

Best of luck my friend

Without going into a lot of the detail, my body is essentially rejecting itself and shutting down. As for the smoking and drinking, the former can definitely kill you in a number of ways, the latter, done in moderation, should have little if any adverse affect and in some instances, i.e. red wine, can be benefittial. My choice not to smoke or drink had basically to do with that I was an athlete at a very young age and didn't want to introduce smoke into my lungs and as for alcohol, just never have enjoyed the taste as it is bitter to me.

As a footnote, both my mother and father smoked and my father had a massive stroke at my current age of 56 which was directly related to his smoking, i.e. narrowed arteries, yet lived 20 more years in permanent nursing care, paralyzed, without the ability to speak, read or write. My mother died from emphysema directly caused by the smoking.

Thank you for your response. I have gone through the same thing with the doctors, yet I have strongly believed that if I begin a regular exercise program, my health may improve. Problem is whenever I get started, my body convulses. Perhaps I will try small steps at first and hopefully gradually build up my strength. I have read many articles both on and off the internet about people who have been quite ill and heavily medicated yet once beginning a slow exercise program, over time were able to eliminate all medications and felt much better. I hope to be one of those that succeeds with just such a program. Thanks again for sharing.

Thank you. Just the hand that I have been dealt. Since I was 21, been dealing with first my father's health, followed by my mothers' and now my own. I won't go down without a fight, I can assure you of that. By the way, good luck tonight with Penn.

I wanted to mention to you specifically how touched I have been by your comments in Journeyman's previous thread regarding my health. If there ever was someone who filled the bill "don't judge a book by it's cover", it would be you. Gambling background, yes. But, definitely a soft heart. Don't ever lose that. It is a gift to be cherished. Thank you for your words of support.

You have ruled out both your abode & surrounding neighborhood as cause / spending a considerable amount of time at a different location has shown no marked improvement?

I'm not trying to re-invent the wheel / wear you down with obvious things you've thought of already... what i'm thinking of is:

1. Toxins that escape tests / degrade quickly...

2. Biological intolerance (in spite of the kazillion tests undergone) to some environmental factor / substance(that is so commonly-non malignant it may have escaped testing)...

I believe i echo everyone here in wishing there was something we could do-- I personally would be more than honored to be of service in any way possible...

Ted - I am 78yrs old and we could swap stories for hours. All I can do from here is lift you up in prayer. And I certainly believe in it and I am definately connected. This is a free service and if not you had paid up front with your picks which I used many many times. Hang in there and work through this thing.
