This probably didn't play out as Jimmy Butler expected.

The Bulls All-Star, who is currently nursing an elbow injury, made a bet with a student from the Phoenix Military Academy: Make a 3-pointer and he'll give the school $10,000. Butler gave Jabaree White three chances to make it happen, but raised the stakes by saying he could only shoot it with one hand.

Of course, as fate would have it, White wasted no time getting to it and took the shot with all the confidence in the world. He touched nothing but the net on his first attempt and was instantly mobbed by his fellow students.

When it all settled down, everyone in the gym huddled up to thank Butler for his generosity.

Hats off to you, Butler.

The thread title is very misleading

Agree, how is it a bet when one person is basically putting up nothing and freerolling.:think2:
