Wow, hard to see, since he ruled it out. BUT, I will say that the longer this goes on without having pretty good confirmation of who it is raises the chance that it is somebody off the radar (i.e. not Biden or Bayh or Kaine or Hillary or Sebelius or Edwards). Is anyone watching General Clark?
The event is in just over 16 hours. When do you suppose they'd have to fly "the guy" out there to Springfield? Don't they need time to step up and so forth? I don't see how they could wait even until 6am to get "the guy" to the airport to get to Springfield. Unless Biden has a secret underground tunnel from his house they're going to track where he goes and we'll know if he's headed to the airport before too long. And if he doesn't, then he's not the guy and it may well be someone no one is looking at and Obama's team has the media focused on these guys as a distraction.
Biden said over a week ago that "He hoped he wouldn't get asked" Webb said 2 months ago he didn't want it, he would fit all the criteria BO needs,
maybe their are last minute negotiations to persuade Webb to change his mind & thats why this is taking so long. I just put $5 on Webb for the heck of it. I always thought he would be a smart choice if he could be persuaded.
