I can't say I'm a fan of Colin Cowherd. In fact I think he's a ****. Harbaugh doesn't jump through the hoops like this clown wanted. It's going to be fun watching some of the matchups this year.

And afterwards, somebody claims to have captured a Harbaugh twitter screenshot before it was deleted.

Real Harbaugh Tweet.

Coach Harbaugh ‏@CoachJim4UM

In my experience of participating in interviews, I've found it takes 2 to produce a clunker! I'll take 50% responsibility 4 this clunker.

Terrible interview, but about the kind of stuff I would expect when two people like this meet. Harbaugh can flat out coach, but his downfall could end up being that he can't behave the way he does and simply burn his bridges in college like he could the NFL. But he can't seem to help himself. He's like Bellichek, he doesn't like interviews. With college ball you have to play the suck up game with boosters, alums, and interviews like this to promote your school and team or else your out the door..

Very true. This was also part of the undoing for a certain guy in the midwest.

Look, I've been a Michigan fan all my life and any idiot could see going in this wasn't going to be some great interview. Harbaugh is kind of a weird dude and a bit socially awkward. With that said the questions colin was asking were insane. Most of the questions were ones he answered 6 months ago when he took the job, and he didn't answer them all that great back then either. He will never win a award for public speaking and I couldn't give two shits about that. Just win some football games.

Imo Cowherd is somewhat of a know it all snarky d-bag and I seem to recall him saying that Harbaugh would never leave the NFL for a college coaching job so I guess he was wrong on that account. His tone and line of questioning is kind of annoying and I would have blown him off as well with that introduction.

I think Harbaugh was just trying to be himself, but Cowherd's questions were all over the map. Can't blame Harbaugh for that wild goose chase of an interview.

One lady down here in Alabama has renamed Cowherd to "Cowturd". He's just not
that well liked in Bama territory.

Check out the Paul Finebaum show for opinions on Mr. Cowherd.

I agree that both are complete jerks. The problem is that Cowherd will be there forever, and Harbaugh will be fired by Michigan in 5 years for failing to win a Big 10 Championship. Harbaugh just can't stop loving himself and hating everyone else. He is the very definition of an a**hole.

under 7 1/2
Let's take a look.

Wins: Oregon State, UNLV, Northwestern, Rutgers and @Indiana = 5.

Losses: @Utah, Michigan State, @Minnesota, @Penn State, Ohio State = 5.

Toss-ups: BYU, @Maryland = 2.

I think Under 7 1/2 wins is not the worst wager you can make this season.

Harbaugh has always been a prick. And he's been known to be hard to work with. But he is an absolute winner. He's turned around every team he's been a part of dating all the way back to San Diego. The Stanford program was one of the worst in the country when he got there. As a 49er fan I have to stick up for him, warts and all. He took the Niners to 3 straight NFC title games with the same players that the previous coaches couldn't even make the playoffs with. He was one muffed punt and a terrible pass away from two more Super Bowl berths, and a terrible officiating mistake away from having a Super Bowl ring. It won't be this season, but his day is coming at Michigan if he behaves himself. I hope he brings Urban Liar down a peg or two...

I listened to the interview today. It was clunky from the start but it really came off the rails when Colin said the Big Ten to him is a "buy" meaning the conference has a positive future and will get better with the new coaches brought in. Harbaugh heard this as "Big Ten is a bye". Taking Colin's meaning as the Big Ten is very weak.

Exactly, up until the buy/ bye thing (which honestly took me a minute to understand what the hell colin meant) it was basically a standard Harbaugh interview. It got a little more awkward after that moment but I'm not sure why this turned into such a big deal. Have people never heard Harbaugh do an interview before. Listen to his intro presser at Michigan, it sounded much the same. He always has weird pauses and short/ odd answers in all his interviews. I'm not sure what Cowheard was expecting. Had he done his homework he would've known this and been a little better prepared for it imo.

It went wrong from the start. What was with the stupid cupcake question. It's funny how cupcake and bye kind of tie-in in the sports world. It's almost as if Cowherd did do his homework and was looking for a click-bate train-wreck.

Besides just being a dick, Harbaugh sounded like he just got out of bed. So it wasn't the best time and definitely wasn't the right radio program to be waking up to before he had his cup of McDonalds coffee..Cowherd was asking some very softball questions to start it, but Harbaugh obviously wasn't having any part of it. That was about as easy on the ears as a Jameis Winston interview
