So it begins......again, at the end of February no less. Rightfully so I guess.
I see you didn't mention Justin Fields transferring to Ohio State, playing for that Rookie coach,
slight oversite. Not to mention Michigan's rookie OC Gattis.
And talk about underachieving, how about Ohio State??? Minnesota gave them a scare, Nebraska almost beat them, took overtime to squeak by Maryland, and lost to Purdue!! And they had probably the #1 QB in the NFL draft and Bosa for half the year. What the hell happened to them?? All those 5-stars on the field. More underachieving in Columbus than at Ann Arbor.
The fact is Michigan fans are grateful they are winning again, despite Ohio State loses. And this last year they should have won, mentally unprepared and a bad defensive scheme is what I saw. Michigan doesn't currently have the intensity for Ohio State as the Buc's have for Michigan. Goes back to the 80's and 90's when UM dominated. In Ann Arbor they don't cover up letters on buildings and other silly crap as they do in Columbus. Maybe they should start.
The bowl games are a disappointment, seems like they just go through the motions and Harbaugh spends December on the recruiting trail rather than preparing for the bowl game.
Shea Patterson; the kid has a lot to learn, wouldn't be surprised if he sees some time, at some point, standing on the sidelines. Let's see what Gattis does with him.
Interesting Trend; Indiana usually loses to the top Big 10 teams year to year, but they play a tough, physical game that can take a toll.
In the last six years the Buckeye's have played Indiana each year. The Buc's are 1-5 ATS playing Indiana, 0-6 ATS the next game. They lost to Oklahoma in 2017 after covering that one Indiana game.
The Wolverines have played Indiana the last six years and they are 2-3-1 ATS vs Indiana, twice going to OT. The Wolv's are 2-4 ATS the game after Indy, losing to Ohio State(but covered ats}, Penn State, and Michigan State.
Next year the Wolverines are at Indiana before the OSU game. But Ohio State gets Penn State the same week.
Nice post Mosi.
Parting shot; Too bad Michigan isn't playing Western Carolina Catamounts before Ohio State.
