ok, I will send one of the two files, the big one bounces back. if you get a free yahoo e-mail, they allow up to 4MB vs hotmail @ 2MB. The file I was sending you was 2MB so if you had anything in your inbox it won't accept the big dog I tried to send.
I was trying to send a big ass excel file that pulls in offensive stats for each team and indivdual stats for all the pitchers including:
TEAM
AVG%
AVG W/ MEN SCR POS
OBP%
SLUG%
HR
H
2B
3B
R
SB
and for pitchers last 2 years:
G
IP
W
L
ERA
BAA
WHIP
HR
K
BB
All the offensive info is broken out by 1st 6 innings, home, away and overall and can be updated free in 5-10 minutes daily from the internet. You can enter in an "edge" percent (e.g. 110% or 120%) and it will tell you how many categories each team is better by at least 10 or 20%.
It is still pretty simple for now but over the coming weeks/months/years I want to use stats like whip, baa, avg, slug%, r, etc to to generate predicted scores and would like some feedback if you are interested.
