hey Jibba... GL with your plays.. IMO for boston game, it's eithr over or no play. Maroth has 3-0 despite the fact that he has been given runs to other teams...which means Maroth so far got lots of run supports.... and for Bos, I just can't trust Tavarez...so i think it might be better to play over in this game...

I hear you and that was actually what originally held me back from this play. But I dug deeper and now think it's only been a matter of time before Maroth's smoke and mirrors fell apart. I'm pretty confident that will happen tonight. Maroth has had like 8 runs a game for support playing against Minnesota, Kansas City, Minnesota, LAA, Kansas City, Toronto, and Kansas City. Tonight he gets only his second appearance against a team above .500. This will be, by far, his toughest test this year and I think he'll fail miserably, especially considering past performances.

BTW, Maroth's stats in Fenway are 0-4 in 4 starts, 8.02 ERA, 2.06 WHIP, .357 BAA, and 6 HRs allowed in only 20 innings.

Thanks man. I may even think more highly of Hamels than you do. The kid is just nasty and still what, like 22 or 23? I really like that one because I think the Brewers don't know how to react to a few tough losses. They've become accustomed to big wins and big winning streaks. Hope you boys up in Philly give 'em hell tonight.

Hope we cash the Dodgers. Are you playing the D-Rays tonight? I'm getting the feeling that they're going to hit my target of +125 (currently +118 and constantly rising). BOL tonight.

Yea I jumped on the D-ray play. Might have been a little early where I could have gotten a better number, but I'm playing it for a 1 unit.

Well I hope the plays come through. Felt awful after last night and really want to get right back into winning. So far it's looking good for the Chi Sox.

Strangely enough, I've been going back and forth on that Indians game all day. I'm no fan of Silva, but he's been good this year. Not great by any means, but good. So anyway, I originally thouht the Indians R/L would be a solid play. But I also can't help but think that the M/L on the Tribe is too high and considered a play on the Twins at almost 2-1. Will probably stay away from this one, even though I'm very high on CC.

Still a couple out there that I'm considering, including Pitt and the Cubs.

Edit: When I was typing this, the Chi Sox were winning 2-1. It's now tied at 2 and the Yankees are threatening with 2 out. Come on Chicago. I want to get back on the winning track.

Heh. You need to edit again & you technically probably had time to do so as the threat was quickly closed via a strikeout then White Sox promptly hits a homer to lead 3-2 in bottom of 6th. :)

Thanks bro. Ain't it great when they work out this way? Was on the Brewers last night and had to put up with them tying it in the top of the 9th only to lose it quickly in the bottom half of the inning. Now this one is far from over, but at least it's good to be on the other side of it. And I assumed you've already noticed, but it's now 4-1 with first and third, one out. Let's get a couple more Chicago.

Jibba, are you on the WSox tonight again.

Not sure yet. I don't want to push my luck by betting on the Yanks to lose both ends of a double header, which doesn't happen all that often. But getting Contreras at that price at home is tempting, especially since he's looked good in 3 starts against NY. Wang was knocked around in his only start against Chicago, and looked horrible in his last start. But that said, I'm pretty high on him and think that was an aberation. Figure I'll cross that road if Chicago can hold onto the first one.

Jibba, got +115 for the Rays. Dont think it is going up anymore. Got Contreras for +135. Hey, even if the Sox lose, thats value for him.

Here's hoping the Chi Sox hold on to start us off on a high note. Currently 5-3 Chicago in the bottom of the 8th. As usual, a big card today, but I explained my reasoning above.

Final Card:

Chicago (AL): 1 unit to win 1.55.
Atlanta: 2 units to win 1.5.
San Diego: 2.61 units to win 1.5.
Arizona: 1.68 units to win 1.5.
LA Dodgers: 2.19 units to win 1.5.
Boston: 2.03 units to win 1.5.
Philadelphia: 1.34 units to win 1.
LA Angels: 1.31 units to win 1.
Pittsburgh: 1.07 units to win 1.
Chicago (NL): 1 unit to win 1.20.

I added Pittsburgh and the Cubs, and added half a unit to the Dodgers. The Pirates are playing better ball right now and should be able to pull out this series against the stumbling Marlins. Olsen has been no good on the road (opponents batting .333), and hopefully we'll see some improvements from Duke, considering that he's at home and playing a slumping offense. Cubs are just based on the pitching matchup. Hill has stumbled a bit lately, but he's as good as people thought he was when he was winning. I almost didn't play this one because of how the Mets have hit lefties this year, but I think they'll have a lot more trouble with Hill. BOL to everyone on their plays tonight. Hope to get some of yesterday's losses back.

I'll probably hold off until I see what some of the regular late posters have to say, if anything, about those ones. May end up with an action play on them, but I don't want to push my luck too much with the big card. BOL tonight bro. :toast:

Two more plays, one a bit of an action play and the other an out of the ordinary parlay.

Tampa Bay: 0.5 units to win 0.6.

Parlay - San Diego and Oakland: 1.67 units to win 2.

I won't pay the juice on Oakland straight up but think this is better than even money value. I got it at VIP an hour ago at +1.2 at VIP. I am pretty sure it's still available at that price and slightly better at a decent book. BOL tonight folks.

GL Jibbs!! Except on TBay.. U can gimme that one ;)

Must have known a big bomb was coming on the Rangers. Not quite sure why I decided to make that just a half unit play.

Sonny, I'm not going against the Yanks twice in one day, but if I were to play the game I would take the home dog. BOL.
