Jibba - You need to get into CFB, much better game than those paid players in the No Fun League

I say the exact opposite sometimes though, at least for CBB, where at times I get the impression they just don't give a damn. I rationalize it in my head that at least the pros get paid, so they have more motivation. Not sure though.

4-1 for +2.65 units with the A's and Pads still pending for 1 unit each. Was a very nice night for me since I ended up following carolinakid on a couple plays and grabbed a little Yankees money on live betting. Hope everyone made some cash tonight.

I hear you ETG. It's not a good feeling. I took some time off from capping and just started following guys like carolinakid, smartz, and a few others. Some really solid cappers on here that I figured you could help my bankroll while I was on my slide, and also help with the confidence. For me, I got too complacent I think, and was playing too many big favorites because I convinced myself it was the safer route. That's no way to cap baseball though. You might be having the same problem, as you were actually the one who got me thinking about the Cubs over in the first place, and you didn't follow through yourself. Hope you get out of your funk, and I always appreciate the information you give to the forum.

I have been tinkering with my style for about a month now. I think I got too caught up in the numbers and forgot my gut on a lot of plays. Losing totally messes with the mind and its one of the hardest things to overcome. I need to avoid these plays that everyone person with an internet connection is on (Red Sox vs. Weaver, Mets tonight, Phillies tonight, Blue Jays vs. Twins last wk), I am not following people on them, I do my research early at night but I am getting suckered into the plays just like everyone else. I also had the same problem as you with playing too many big favorites and lastly just not trusting myself on totals. A lot of things to work on but its very stressful

I don't doubt you'll get out of the funk. Just keep working on how you cap games best and don't bet scared. Let's get the books tomorrow. :toast:

I agree, lets get them. Already looking at A's -1 tomorrow, not paying -160 but a -1 play is more reasonable. Blanton at home is sporting a 1.80era and 1.61 over his last 3 games. They will be fresh off a loss tomorrow and Litsch, well he hasn't started in the bigs since 5/30 and didn't have a good start since his first 1. He has 2 starts on the road covering 8.2ip and 7er
