Some demographics are easier to understand how they vote the way they do. For the life of me, I cannot figure how the Jews keep voting for the Democratic candidate. Just seems to me the Republican party has been more consistently pro-Israel, yet this demographic always votes the other way. I am not bashing, just trying to get some reasoning on their thinking on who they cast their ballot for. If there are any Jews that could enlighten me on this I would be appreciative.

Jews want to mix us all down and take over the planet, so the Dems are the best for this. Or at least that is what i heard somewhere from someone on this board.

Not even so sure about the more pro-Israel thing, but that aside, why would you assume that the only thing American Jews care about is being "pro-Israel". Most Jews are not from Israel and probably most don't even know anybody in Israel. Maybe they care more about America? Just a thought.

Yeah, but that doesn't fit into all of those conspiracy theories out there. If people around here ever became friendly with a group of jews they would learn that if you put 10 jews in a room you would get 10 different opinions.

What people also don't know is that while orthodox jews are more likely to vote conservative, they are the minority. Most jews are not orthodox, so as the less religious jews tend to be more liberal in their religious beliefs it is not shocking that they tend to be more liberal in their political beliefs.

I grew up in west Texas. Not many jews out there. Not many in the army either. I met no Burns or Allens or even Bennys.

Matter of fact I cannot remember a single Jew in the service. My wife was married to an officer at that time and she never met any either.

Hey Scott L. did Jews serve in Vietnam?

There is nothing inherently wrong with making generalizations about
a group.

Too much "politically-correct" kool-aid for you huh?

The American Jews that were pro Israel actually moved there.

Correct.

The only version of Jew the media in America shows is the typical western reformer, self-loathing type who militantly marches in the streets of Manhattan with Obama signs and shouts for the destruction of Israel. They wouldn't know what a synagogue looked like if it hit them in the face and, instead, idolize fellow despicable, self-hating Jews like Bobby Fischer.

Another sign of a liberal Jew is one who marries outside of their Jewish faith/culture in the desperate attempt to assimilate and hide their Jewish bloodline in future generations. This is known in reputable Jewish circles as "The Silent Holocaust" where over 50% of Jews in America intermarry, in some areas as high as 90%...

There is a Holocaust taking place in America right now. We can't hear it, because there are no barking dogs; we can't see it because there are no goose-stepping Nazi soldiers and no concentration camps; we can't smell it because there are no gas chambers. But the net result is exactly the same. If we fail to act now, if we fail to share with our young Jews the beauty and meaningfulness of Jewish life and Jewish heritage, there will be few Jews left in the next generation who will even know that there ever was a Holocaust of European Jews. The Silent Holocaust will have done its job. Hitler will have emerged victorious.
