I never thought he got any better. He will go to Tampa Bay's camp.

. The Bucs gave Snead free-agent deal after the draft ended. His agent, Jeff Nalley, told the Jackson Clarion-Ledger, “Once it gets past the fourth round, a lot of times it’s just better to go undrafted. Jevan’s a smart kid and he understands that. With the Bucs, he’s got a really good shot to make that roster.”

He got worse last year 20 td`s and 20 int`s

Correct about it being better as a FA over a late round pick.

Dan LeFevour drafted, from Central Michigan.

Just goes to show you that playing for a big name school and being on TV and having all the talking heads polish your knob really doesn't equate to how good you are.

Snead has an NFL arm and the size to go with it. He just doesn't have the accuracy or decision making ability. Then again, Peyton Manning threw a ton of INTs his first year in the NFL and didn't exactly set the world on fire during college. I think Snead has a chance of eventually developing but it will take a few years.

Another Mel Kiper backed loser. Kiper was the one who was building up this guy for no reason what so ever.

I wonder if Kiper is getting money to boost these guys. I mean He's the idiot who started the TeBow isn't an NFL QB shit and he had to eat that crap. And He was the one who couldn't stop talking about Clausen non-stop.

And it figures. Tebow isn't going to give Kiper $1 to build him up and the others just might.

As Gruden said to Clausen "Here's you agent Mel Kiper Jimmy." Good stuff from Gruden.

Kiper is a blow hard and I think He has lost all creditability.

And no way is NOT getting drafted better than being drafted. Who comes up with this shit?

If you are drafted that means someone wants you enough to spend a draft pick on you even if it is a 7th round pick. Not getting drafted is bad except that some team MIGHT give you a chance in camp, but really doesn't expect much.

Snead should have stayed another year at Ole Miss, but he was about to get benched there so how is he going to make an NFL team?

High Times,

In the 7th round it is better to go undrafted, because what you want to do is select a team that you know is weak at your position.

the 4th and 5th round crap is complete bs. You can still get a nice signing bonus in the 4th and 5th rounds.

I couldn't understand last year when all the ESPN A holes were saying he is big time player.

We know why he didn't start at Texas. He was great at throwing worm burners.

I sent Snead a bill for my 2009 college football betting season. I haven't heard back yet.

You are getting a very small bonus, if any. Basically if you make the roster you will get one.

All it takes is one team to fall in love with a player. The 24 other teams who passed on Tebow agreed with Kiper, or filled other needs. Does that make Denver smarter than Kiper? Only time will tell.

i would have taken a late round shot with the kid, he would have been a first rounder last year. more worth it than taking a qb in the first round like bradford or tebow, too much risk
