If the jets win next week and Balt loses they will have the same record for the last wildcard spot. Who wins the tiebreaker?

I know the Jets loss gives New England a shot to steal the AFC East Title but they need the Jets to beat the Dolphins in the Meadowlands and they have to win in Buffalo.

Ravens will not lose...mute point

You mean moot point?

And i do believe that anything can happen and Ravens at home is not a guaranteed win.

The way Buffalo played today i believe the can keep it close with NE next week. But as a Jets fan im really disappointing the way this team has played. Something is just not clicking, i don't like the play calling at all.

I don't think Jets can be a wildcard .... they either win the division (with win and Pats loss) or their season is over I believe.

Right now in the AFC there are 6 teams battling for three playoff spots.

The AFC West spot goes to the winner of next week's Broncos at Chargers Game.

The Ravens can clinch the 2nd AFC Wild Card Spot with a win against Jacksonville next week in Baltimore.

The Dolphins can win the AFC East if they win at the Meadowlands against the Jets...

If the Jets win vs Miami they need Buffalo to win at home against the New England Patriots to win the AFC East spot.

The Patriots can get in with a Jets win (AFC East Title) or a Ravens loss (Wild Card) and their own must win game over Buffalo.

Tennesee and Pittsburg have bye's clinched and Indianapolis has the top Wild Card spot clinched. The Titans have clinched home field throughout the AFC Playoffs.

If somehow Baltimore loses there are other possibilities for the second Wild Card spot.

The Jets would be in if they win and either NE or Baltimore loses. If they end up tied with NE for the division, they get it because they have better division record. If they end up tied with the Ravens, they get in because they would have a better record against the AFC.
