I live about 15 minutes from Wofford College. They have some of the best student athletes in the state. This year in basketaball has been a roller coaster ride that has seen Wofford almost beating Georgia (a David and Goliath type senario) but then maybe the next game or so get destroyed by a weaker opponent. Wofford, even though I like to attend their games and I pull for them quite often, can sometimes be inconsistent and leave you scratching your head. I think your -3.5 might be safe this time, but I have better luck with the o/u this year with the Wofford squad playing the under and maybe buying three or four. The Southern Conference does have alot of talent though and quality programs to boot. GL
18677--I like you, but damn that name sucks to type/remember. You're right I just took a look at a few other #'s and -2 or better would have been perfect. A few adjustments just made the game -3 as the line for me >:\ *sigh* I can still hope though. I was 1/2 kidding about the 45... Wofford's D isn't that great.. and in reality, WCAR's D might even be better.
John--I don't know the scouting report for that area but IF they do have the best talent in the area... then they are like the Charlote Bobcats of NCAAB lol. You're right about it being a rollercoaster *BUT* that game vs GA shouldn't have been that epic even though it's a BIG vs SMALL school. Wofford was able to have a billion possessions which kept them in the game... musta been exciting to watch live if you did!

I know this a basketball forum, but I guess when I said student athletes, I was refering to football, basketball, baseball, all sports if you will both men and women. Wofford is a very challenging school academically and not just anybody can be admitted. Around here it is known as the "Haarrvard of the South." I myself was recruited by Wofford many years ago to play football. The highest I ever made of the SAT was 1150 and you needed an 1100 just to process your application. I went to Clemson instead, but that is a different story. Anyway BOL to you and The Terriers tonite.
With regard to the first meeting won by WCU you should note that WCU shot 60% a ridiculous numbers from a team that shots 43% for the year. WCU shots 41% on the road. On the flip side in the Wofford shot 43% in that game. At home this year Wofford shoots 49%. Also note that in the past five games overall, Wofford has shot 50% and 38.8% from three. They have gone 4-1 with only loss to Davidson. WCU in their last five has shot 42% and 31.8% from 3. Two mediocre SoCo teams, I am taking the better shooting team at home in a revenge game and giving the points.
