pretty magical moment, watching his parents and the joy on his face..

A guy who has NEVER sought out the limelight, its nice to see the real guys get it done....

One of the best every day ballplayers to ever play the game...not flashy, but always VERY GOOD...

I'm a Yankee hater, but Jeter has always been the one Yankee
I thought did it all with class.

Hats off to him, he deserves it.

RAYS just trying to hold on and win this one....then sweep the Sox in Fenway.....then hope the Rangers and Sox both catch a three week case of swine flu.....and then, we'll be right back in it.

Sincerely,

Super Dreamer

Congrats to Derek Jeter - soon to be all time Yankee hit leader by himself.

All Time Yankees position players
1. Ruth
2. Gehrig
3. DiMaggio
4. Mantle
5. Berra
6. Jeter
7. Dickey
8. Combes

It would be hard to place Jeter higher or lower than 6th
Honorable Mention Rizzuto, Henrich, Keller, Bernie Williams, Rolfe
