Jetblue is not a "Discount" Airline, But they are not like " The Big 3 " as they like to call them ( United, American & Delta )
They are the 5th largest Airline in the US.
But they like to call Jetblue a "Low cost" airline because of their great Airfares .. only thing is they have some of the best amenities, which we know the "Low cost" or discount Airlines don't provide .
I use JetBlue all the time ... NY, FL, Las Vegas, Bahamas , DR, Aruba, and San Juan...
Matter of fact, I haven't used another airline since 2008

the jet blue credit card will give you 50,000 points
if you spend a few dimes which can be a lot of trips.
southwest is very cost effective but is a no frills airline.
their reward program is the best and signing up for their
credit card also gives you 50,000. I got 2 roundtrip cross country
trips on a tough route from SW worth about $850-900 for getting
theiir credit card.

Thank you for the insight guys. We had put together a prize package and went with Jet Blue airfare, the winner started complaining about his flights being with Jet Blue the "discount airline" At first I thought he was joking but he was completely serious and almost angry about it. Some people... just can't ever be happy or grateful.
always on time based on my own experience, but I think you fly a lot more often than I do
maybe he flies first class or something, which doesn't excuse his petulance
there really are assholes out there
