for sure the tipping point. I stopped using ESPN.com months and months ago. I ONLY watch live sports on ESPN anymore. Made the mistake of tuning in to ESPN BEFORE the Lakers/Celtics game started the other night and sure enough the panel was discussing anti Trump crap in great length....cannot stand it...I don't want the political shows I watch talking about football either!
WTF you people have with the most beautiful and by far the most popular sport in the world, denigrating it in such way by saying this?
It's like saying those who like soccer are overwhelmingly liberals.
The idea of saying that some sports are preferred a lot more by some people affiliated with some political agenda, and other sports by others affiliated with other political agendas is very stupid IMO.
But if you wanna make it politic, let's give it a go: look in Europe at the hardest fanbase of the big clubs, those who are in the fan section of stadiums every game.

People aren't watching SportsCenter anymore, so they're trying different things. SVP shook up the midnight hour. I'll check out the new 6 o'clock show and see if it adds anything. I found His and Hers entertaining when I could catch it.
Don't know if this is official, but I believe soon Greeny's taking over the morning slots with some kind of Good Morning America-type sports morning show. People get their scores and highlights differently now, got to try new approaches.
Sportscenter has become outdated. No reason to watch an hour of highlights when you only want to see 2 or 3 games and can just find them on your phone instantly.
I dunno about these 2 and I wouldn't watch either way because I don't really watch the talking head shows, but it makes sense to turn the show into something different.
Lighten up, Francis. Soccer fans in the US are mostly Euro's, Hispanics, or Hipster's. And it's the latter that I'm referring to. The Hipter "I'm so cool, I don't watch American football or other American sports.....they're too fascist!" crowd. So, yes, it's the liberal, hipster, bearded, craft-beer, skinny, weak, white dudes. If you don't believe me, start paying attention. I've been to several DC United games and I work in DC. It's exactly as I described it: Euro's, Hispanics, and Hipster's.
