</TD></TR><TR><TD vAlign=top colSpan=3>The Bucs have informed free agent Jeff Garcia that he is no longer in their plans.
"With a new head coach, they want somebody pulling the trigger that they can mold," said Garcia. The 39-year-old will likely have to compete for a job no matter where he lands, possibly Minnesota. The Jets have been suggested as a potential suitor, but Garcia's noodle arm makes New York a poor fit.

He offers quite a bit that Minn does not have right now.

Hopefully not the route they go but I can see it happening.

Vikings are known for trying to use veteran QB's because they can't seem to draft one.

Doubt he'll be coming to MN. Childress's head is stuck too far up Travesty Jackson's ass.

Well, I guess that is another team in the running for Cassel.

chiefs or cowboys...

would not be surprised to see jerry jones go after him hard...

cowboys have no backup at all...and jones could probably overpay him to avoid another brad johnson debacle.

We (Vikes) Need QB Desperately

But not Ol Jeff, he'd be a slight upgrade true. But Itzy has plenty of $$$, and cap space to go after better options IMO. If available McNabb my #1 choice, then Leftwich. If they don't change I hope someone beats Childress to death, or move the fucking team. I'm tired of this shit. I'll croak before I see another SB. :ohno:
