CHICAGO -- Forget the playoffs.
At 4-6, the Bears are as good as dead in terms of the postseason.
And forget about hoping they lose their last six games to improve their draft position for next year. <!-- BlogBurst ContentEnd --><!-- start sidebar -->

Michael Vick had done next-to-nothing in the Eagles' first nine games this season. So, naturally, he made a big play against the Bears on Sunday night, rushing for 34 yards on this carry.

<!-- BlogBurst ContentStart -->Losing games benefits Denver, which holds Chicago's No. 1 draft pick ... a choice that apparently is going to be a pretty high one based on what's happened to the former Monsters of the Midway.
On Sundaynight, in a must-win situation against the Philadelphpia Eagles, the Bears played to must- lose, and did exactly that, bowing 24-20 to basically end the competitive phase of the 2009 season.
Jay Cutler was the guilty party on Sunday.
The former Pro Bowl quarterback was mediocre at best, and for the second straight week, threw an interception into coverage with his team driving for a game-winning score.
But earlier in the game, Cutler missed on three chances that would have produced TD's by overthrowing wide-open receivers in or near the end zone.
Cutler completed 24 of 43 passes for paltry 171 yards. His passer rating of 63 wouldn't be good for a backup, which, of course, is what he played like.
Donovan McNabb completed 23 of 42 passes for 244 yards and 2 TDs.
The Eagles won the game on a 10-yard TD run with less than six minutes to play. EAGLES 24, BEARS 20
