i love when you know a sportscaster has money on a game, i always get a kick out of listening to Musberger, he has to have money on the games he calls, just by listening it sounds like it.
al michaels is classic you know he goes large on games he will mention things like well there may not be many still watching but the under is watching closely
My favorite was when OSU/ND Fiesta Bowl and Ted Ginn scored and Musburger goes, folks break out the adding machines, this one is going to have a lot points.
He always drops hints on who he has and the number.
Another favorite line was when Illinois had their great season a few years back, they were at Wisky and Ill was -8 and he goes you know all the rascals in Vegas are allow over Wisky in this one.

Of course they bet on sports, particulariy on games they are involved with; they get this feeling that they picked up some "inside information" leading up to game time.
They would go "stare-crazy" trying to stay "fired-up" in a game that turned into a "yawner". They need the action.
