During the interview process, don't they ask the head coaching candidate what he would do in certain situations? If I heard the answer "run safe dives up the middle, settle for the 47 yard field goal", I woulda said "see ya!"

I totally agreed. This clearly showed he has no confident in his QB. On the other hands, Edwards demonstrated that he is not a leader on the field in this game. Just before the half, he was down around the Cleveland 15 yard line with 18 ticks left. He got up and looked for the sign from the bench. I always know he is a very average QB, but never realize he totally lacks common sense. I wonder what was his thought. Line up quickly to spike the ball?

When Clev. had the ball, Brady Quinn drove the ball to the Buff. red zone, they threw 3 incomplete pass in the row and settled for more than 50 yrds FG to take a lead at 29-27. What were they thinking? If they ran 3 plays and they don't make it, they could come a litttle bit closer and could kill the clock atleast more than a minute instead they made the FG and left the Buff. having the ball back with more than a minute and a half. Passing the ball in that sistuation only give the opponent anorther life to come back if you only go for a FG.That was a case Buff had a chance to win the game. I bet on Clev. but i routed for Buff. to make that FG to win the game. What if Edwards threw the ball and got INT. Buff. fans gonna skin their own Bills.
