He is the field general. Whats not to like about a catcher that KNOWS the game, gritty, cannot hit a lick but the rest of the team can hit. Any offense he provides is a bonus. Look how many games he played behind the dish last year. The leader in current players for hit by pitch.

I wonder if his dad Jerry still watches his games. Jerry was the UofA coach for years when I was growing up. I went to a baseball camp with him and Terry Francona was one of the instructors that year. Francona was just graduated or in his senior year.
