This guy showed horrible accuracy issues last night. Quite often he gave the deer in the headlights look when in the pocket. Had a few good throws but way too many really bad ones. I realize he doesn't have the league's best supporting cast. Yes he put up ungodly numbers in Cal's Bear Raid offense, that means next to nothing, how many QB's with eye popping numbers has Texas Tech churned out in the last 15 years? I think this guy has bust written all over him in Ryan Leaf, Jeff George, Tim Couch caliber top draft pick collapse. Anybody else think he is grossly overrated?

I think he has high potential.

Worst OL in the NFL.

Terrible WR's and TE's, cannot get separation (Austin can sometimes but he is tiny, gets pushed around)... dropped passes (all year but last night there were some real bad ones!)

I think the Rams were idiotic to give away 6 draft choices for him but he might come around in a few years when he gets stronger and IF/WHEN they get some OL help and WR's.

Now that that dinosaur Fisher is gone they might go with a 2016 offense instead of a 1960's Woody Hayes offense. Gurley was a jerk for saying they are running a middle school offense but he was absolutely right. The Fisher "offense" is actually unbelievably simple, predictable, out of date. He overrode his OC's and insisted on running his Fred Flinstone offense. Some left. Good ones knew better than to go to the Rams.

He's probably the reason Fisher is gone. So management and Snead can try and save face and pin the struggles on the coach. Not to mention the fact that Fisher wanted more players to compete, yet management wanted Goff to make a splash to sell tickets in LA. Fisher runs a middle school offense because that's a side effect of having below pro level talent and a lack of play makers.
Now the team has sold out for a lame duck QB. And to keep Fisher happy and keep his mouth shut, they gave him a fat pay day right before cutting him loose. This organization is a long ways away from winning any time soon.

Could be. He hasn't looked very good. Gurley hasn't gotten going all year and the oline and wr and terrible. Goff was a better prospect coming out then Rodgers. Dont get that confused with being the better player. With the recent early success of guys like Dak and Luck people are expecting him to come out and play at that level. Doesn't work that way for everyone.

Said it when he was drafted. He has a sam bradford feel to him. Wouldn't call him ryan leaf ever lol. That is the ultimate low for quarterbacks. Case keenum didn't look much better when he came in with a chance to cover from Seattles 20 yard line. So can't be all Goffs fault.

If kenny britt leaves your offense and you are considered "in trouble" then you have bigger problems than your qb

he had no protection reminded me of the giants and eli. I think Goff will be an exceptional quarterback. How about that fourth down play by there punter now thats some sad shit. Seeing Fassels dad on the sidelines they were fucking doomed. No pass protection no one to throw the ball too. That game sums up my feeling of where the direction of the nfl is going in the toilet.

Yeah those receivers dropping balls near the in zone sure wasn't helping his case. Don't get me wrong he's playing bad, but he's supposed to play bad he's a rookie. Especially with that O-line. QB's worst nightmare, especially new ones. He's not used to taking those kinds of hits, yet. Some never get used to it.
