Good luck to you boys on this one. I can't make heads or tails out of it. Should be an interesting watch if nothing else.

I haven't seen anyone display any concern that Toney may have "come down" to his current weight. This seems like it may be the case given all of the pre weigh-in predicitions of 250+. If he did come down, he came down a LOT. Almost 10% of his total weight. After seeing the fight with Rahman, Toney losing that much weight that quickly would concern me a bit.

Labeeb, it's the same story every time. Toney has come down from "total lardass" to "disgusting pig" level for his last several fights. Dude must balloon up to 270-280 between fights.

I don't think it's cause for concern at all, especially since he weighed in at ~235 for his last 3.

Man, I can't wait for this thing to start.

I agree with you Matt. I am very anxious to see what happens here. It should be entertaining no matter who wins.

I'm shocked by that decision. The entire press row and the announcer all scored it Toney winning the fight (as did I).

I'm not going to cry and say I was robbed, but I believed I had won my bet when the fight was over. Regardless, it was an entertaining fight.

Didn't see the fight yet, but I just read a bunch of round-by-round reports and it sounded like it was a tough fight to call.

I'm disappointed for Toney. :cryingcry

Robbery

Regardless of my bet, I thought Toney wons hand down, and if he lost it certainly wasnt by 116-111 with a Point Deduction. I hate to say it but another black eye for boxing. Crooked Judges:pucking: :monsters-

I had it Toney 115-114, and I agree that it was a tough fight to score. I almost always give rounds to the guy who lands punches and plays defense over they guy who throws 10 haymakers and lands 1. Obviously the judges in last night's fight didn't see it the same way. I feel bad for Toney, but look forward to betting against Peter in the future. I felt like his hand speed was slow, he wasn't in the greatest of shape, and could get hurt by a bigger puncher.

Just watched and scored the fight, with the added advantage of being able to pause and replay the action at will. I got 115-114 Peter, and the only rounds that could've gone either way IMO were the 8th and 12th.

116-111 for Peter is a bit extreme, but it's hard to argue against the outcome. Excellent close fight that none of us should've bet on. :lolBIG:

Toney wins easilly

BUT if he decides to fight again it'll be 45lbs lighter becasue at this weigt he can put togethre 35 quality secinds per round, thats about 10%, but it will be more thab enough eniough to win, I think he will retire after this fight 9no doubt ghe should hang up the gloves after this one win kloose or draw) which he should win by a KO in about the 6th

He's still James Toney,,,His opponent is still a never been punk who will be JT's bitch all nigt long until he just can't gwet his weak, unskilled ass off the canvass.

But if anyone cares about Toney as a man, his people should be insisting that this is the last hurah, and if those guys didn;t just fuck hiime the way they normally do ijn the bboxiong game, JT made enough to be set for life,,,,,,,he should probably take the managers and tariners and knoscvk them out one by one based on the ammount of $ they stole from him. IMHO:Sad Face: :nohead:
