James Posey has been suspended for one game after throwing a ball at referee Gary Zielinski on Friday.
He may have missed Sunday's game with an elbow injury anyway, but now there is no question about whether he'll play today or not. In addition, he's been slumping badly, hitting just eight of his last 34 shots. Rasual Butler might get a few extra looks tonight against the Spurs. Mar. 29

i agree with you. what he did was ridiculous and unacceptable. i love posey but this was just classless... 20 might be pushing it, id give him 5-8 plus a fine

all the more reason to play the spurs -1.5 or -2

wtf i think a one game suspension is more than enough.. specially with posey's history, hes not an aggressive guy and he simply lost his temper and obviously regrets it.

the nba is to harsh on players these days. i mean they expect them to play with all the heart and passion they can give every game, yet they try and force them to keep in all anger and emotion when frustration peaks. that is IMPOSSIBLE for anyone to do. and it seems like players care less n less for certain games due to this factor
