Poor fella doesn't have enough money in his salary to live like he thinks should. So what does he do.....brings a bill to floor to raise pay so he can live more comfortable. I can't believe these types are who the American people vote for. Cry me a fucking river you piece of shit.

Actually, Moran is raising the bill to make a point, whether one agrees with it or not. His motives are totally unselfish, and as such refreshing, as he's retiring at the end of his term(this year), before any increase could or would go into effect. Of course such a bill will never see the light of day.

He's getting nothing out of it because the bill is DOA. But I wouldn't expect someone stupid enough to support someone who wanted to Nuke Vietnam, in Barry Goldwater, to understand.
