My lines:

Philly -160, O9 -112
Arizona -140, 10 Pk

Bets:

Philadelphia Phillies -111
Phillies/Braves Over 9 +105

Pitchers: Vazquez/Blanton

Vazquez has a problem with giving up HRs and he is getting older. Lowe and Jurrjens are much better pitchers and Philadelphia should get their bats going finally. Blanton is decent enough to hold down the Braves but he'll still give up a few runs. Gotta like the home team not to get swept and the over as Vazquez gets hit hard.

Laying off Arizona for no real reason other then I don't trust Doug Davis very much. No matter whether I bet on him or against him, he finds a way to screw me.

I'm on the PHI play. Laughed about the Doug Davis comment... I regularly faded him last year so I had some success there. For that game, I felt the Over was a better play even at 10 runs.

Impressive 6-2 day yesterday!

Thanks Ivan. Hopefully the day was profitable to you as well. I actually had a bad feeling going into yesterday but it turned out okay minus the Oakland/Angels under that went over in the last frame. Still mad about that.

I swear if I had faded Davis last season he'd win every game. The over was a little scary since Morales is kind of up and down and Davis can dominate on occasion (the times I bet against him). Good luck on the play.

My lines:

Yankees -140, O9.5 -116
Toronto -165, U9.5 -112

Bets:

Yankees/Orioles Over 9.5 +100
Pitchers: Wang/Uehara

Wang has had issues with the Orioles and Uehara is only a marginal pitcher going against an awesome offense. I'm hoping that just because it's the first time New York has seen him doesn't hinder their hitting. He doesn't have tremendous stuff so I think he'll get hit as well as Wang.

Toronto Blue Jays -128
Pitchers: Litsch/Miner

Miner has a decent shot to pitch very well here but so does Litch and when you figure in the Toronto home field and Detroit's lack of anything resembling a bullpen, -128 seems like a steal.

My lines:

Mets -115, 8.5 Pick
Boston -180, U8.5 -112

Bets:

Boston Red Sox -141

Pitchers: Lester/Kazmir

Both guys are lefty studs but the difference is that the Red Sox hit lefties better then anyone and Tampa doesn't hit them well at all. Lester dominated Tampa last year and Kazmir had some issues. Boston at home and they should dominate.

Grr my computer keeps crashing. Time to buy a new one today.

My lines:

Twins -160, O9 -118

Bets:

Minnesota/Seattle Over 8.5 -105
Pitchers: Slowey/Silva

Carlos Silva is crap and will give up runs every time he starts. Slowey is an awesome pitcher but he does give up some home runs and Seattle is a HR-hitting team.

That Minnesota/Seattle Over is actually at +102. Good thing my bet didn't go through before my computer crashed because 5Dimes has reduced juice on totals. Missed it on the earlier ones though because I'm dumb.

My lines:

White Sox -155, U9 -112
Cardinals -160, 9 Pick

Bets:

Chicago White Sox -107

Pitchers: Greinke/Floyd

Greinke struggled a ton in the spring and was horrible last year on the road against the White Sox. Floyd has good stuff and at home this bet has very nice value. I'd make it a 2-unit play if I had any idea why it got steamed down. Scared me.

My lines:

Angels -130, 9.5 Pk
Dodgers -200, U8.5 -120

Bets:

Los Angeles Angels -101
Pitchers: Eveland/Adenhart

The Angels hit lefties well and Eveland didn't pitch that well against them last year. Adenhart had a ton of command issues last season but looked much improved in the spring. At home I like the Angels to find a way.

Los Angeles Dodgers -169

Pitchers: Billingsley/Silva

Billingsley dominated the Padres last season and San Diego just can't hit. Even with the groin injury I don't think the Padres score more then a run or two. Silva has below average stuff and could do decent since no one has really seen him but there is no way the Dodgers should lose this game. 7-1 final or so.

Thanks buddy. Nothing wrong with taking some time off at the start of the year to figure stuff out. Good luck this year.

First 2 are in. Nice surprise to come home and see Philly came back. Got a couple favorites not doing so hot though...
