1st Half Record
Record: 86-107
Units: -25.41
2nd Half Record
Record: 0-0
Units: +0
Going to keep the first half record, but wanted to start new. The 1st half record will be posted with the 2nd half record so no one has to accuse me of starting over. My picks are horrible. After winning a ton of money at this sport for years, it's just not clicking this season. Trying to turn it around.
Baltimore Orioles -108
Baltimore/Toronto Over 10 +100
Pitchers: Liz/Litsch
Baltimore hits well at home and with both pitchers being horrible, I like the better offense here. Lots of runs scored on both sides as the bullpens should give some up after being stretched.
Oakland Athletics +177
Oakland/TB Under 7.5 -110
Pitchers: Eveland/Kazmir
Tampa can't hit anyone now, especially lefties. Eveland has been good this season. Both teams will struggle to score, so take the huge underdog and hope the A's get a run or two.
Kansas City Royals -109
Pitchers: Hochevar/Miner
Detroit has issues hitting on the road, and Miner has not had success as a starter. Gotta back the Royals at home in this one since Hochevar pitched well against the Tigers last time.
Texas Rangers +154
Pitchers: Hurley/Vazquez
Hurley has pitched solidly in all four of his starts and I just don't think Vazquez has it anymore. He has a 4.61 ERA on the season and hasn't pitched well. Good enough for me.
