My lines:

Phillies -140, U8.5 -120
Marlins -115, U8.5 -116

Bets:

San Diego Padres +147
Padres/Phillies Under 8.5 -101

Pitchers: Young/Hamels

I personally believe Hamels is going to be okay in this start but he still hasn't pitched enough where his command and velocity are 100% so he'll give up a few runs. That might be all we need with Young dominating in this park last time and not being a HR-allowing pitcher which is great against a power hitting Philly lineup. 4-2 Padres.

Nationals/Marlins Under 9 +110
Pitchers: Lannan/Nolasco

Lannan is a very good pitcher and should be getting into the groove by now. He pitches much better at home and should limit a Marlins team that I still don't believe hits lefties that well. Nolasco scares me more than anything on this under but even when he's struggling, Ricky still has good stuff and this is a pitchers' park. Lean on Nats +113 as well.

My lines:

Pirates -135, U8 -120
Blue Jays -160, 9.5 Pk

Bets:

Very pissed I missed out on the Pirates as dogs and the Under for that game at 8.5 Grr. I need to get my shit together and have my lines ready when the books release em.

Toronto Blue Jays -137
Pitchers: Purcey/Outman

The A's can't hit lefties and are dealing with injuries while Purcey has impressed me this season. Outman doesn't belong in a major league rotation at this point and the Toronto offense is looking very strong. They should knock Outman out early.

My lines:

Mets -150, O9 -120
Red Sox -135, U9 -112

Bets:

New York Mets -119

Pitchers: Livan/Bush

Risky play here since everyone loves the Mets and the line has gone the other way but Livan looked great in the spring and strong enough in his first start to make me think he does well against this free-swinging Milwaukee team. Bush can throw well from time to time but the Mets hit him hard last year and New York hit well in their 3-game series against the Padres that just ended. Gotta like the -119.

Red Sox/Orioles Under 10 -115
Pitchers: Penny/Guthrie

Guthrie was horrible in his Fenway start last year but has had success here before and was very good against Boston in his 3 home starts so I tend to believe he'll do well against a Boston team not doing well with the bats. Baltimore's offense has been a surprise but Penny looked very good in his first start and should only get better. This one should stay under.

My lines:

Rays -140, U8 -116
Astros -155, O8.5 -125

Bets:

Chicago White Sox +183 (1/2 unit)
Rays/White Sox Under 8.5 +116
(1/2 unit)
Pitchers: Colon/Shields

I know James Shields is an awesome pitcher and all but this White Sox lineup has some really good power hitters and the Rays' offense is not geared to score big runs. Colon looked like the guy from back in '05 or whatever in his first start and I think this one is a low-scoring game that anyone can win. Line movement scares me here, hence the 1/2 unit plays.

Astros/Reds Over 8 -103
Pitchers: Oswalt/Cueto

Oswalt is not throwing all that great right now and the Reds have the sluggers to put some runs on the board. I love Cueto but the guy just doesn't have the complete package yet and this might be a tough start for him since he struggled against Houston last year. Both bullpens are average at best. This one should go over.

Going to call that the card for tonight. It's 5 already where I am at and I have 3-4 more articles to write, plus the whole shave/shower/get ready to go out stuff. Best of luck to everyone tonight.

Crazy day. As much as I want to bitch about certain games, there are others who I feel lucky to be in. Hopefully all this nuttiness turns out okay.

Nothing late? LAD and Wolf perhaps?

Not tonight. Just got done writing and getting ready and it's about time to head out.

Hell actually, just for fun I parlayed the 3 late games.

Rockies, Giants, Mariners... 1 to win 8.8. I'll count it in my record since my stupid ass actually bet on it.

Kids, don't try this at home. If I bet any serious coin I wouldn't do this stuff.
