Record: 16-17 -1.93 Units
2 Unit Plays: 2-0

4-1 +3.25 last night. Only loss, which prevented me from being up money, was the U9.5 in the StL/Hou game where Pujols hit a meaningless 9th inning HR to push the total to 10. Bummed out about that one but I can't complain.

Hopefully today is the day I get up money and start the run to riches.

Plays coming soon.

AL Bets:

Tampa Bay/Seattle Under 9.5 +100
Pitchers: Jackson/Bautista

Gotta admit I figured this one to be at a 9 with about -115 juice on the under and am pleasantly surprised at this number. Edwin Jackson has all the talent in the world if he can put it together and he looked like he's taken a big step forward in his first start of the year. Seattle can't hit well as a team and relies on the HR, something Jackson doesn't give up easily. Tampa is having some issues scoring runs lately and they play their home games in a pitchers' park. Although Bautista is nothing to write home about, he is not a POS either and should do well in this matchup. Bullpens are iffy but this number is just off altogether.

Minnesota Twins +130
Pitchers: Livan/Contreras

What the muff? This is a pickem game at best. It would not surprise me at all if Minnesota was favored. Livan has been dealing. Contreras can't get an out. He's about the only pitcher to make Detroit's offense look good this season. Minnesota isn't the best offense but I think Contreras is hanging on by a thread and is no longer a major league caliber starter.

Awesome song. Acoustic is always a favorite of mine. Is Keidis wearing a freakin apron though? There's a fashion statement that never took off...

NL Bets:

Chicago Cubs -140
Pitchers: Hill/Morris

Matt Morris is done. The guy can't get outs and a team like the Cubs with so many potent bats is going to hurt him bad. The Pirates are hitting well but Rich Hill is an excellent pitcher who should hold them in check. If all goes like I see it happening, this game will be decided by the 4th inning.

Mets/Phillies Under 9 +100
Pitchers: Maine/Eaton

Maine dominated the Phillies last season. Eaton is a guy who can't pitch at his tiny home park to save his life but has had some success in bigger parks like Shea, plus he dealt to the Mets a few times last year. I think the juice on the number 9 is about twenty cents off here.

1-0 so far today. Today is hopefully the day to be positive units on the year.
