Record: 65-80
Profit: -16.22
Predicted AL Lines:
Boston -140, U8.5 -115
Cleveland -150, O8.5 -115
Detroit -180, 10 Pk
Minnesota -130, O10.5 -115
Rangers Pk, O10.5 -115
KC Pk, U8.5 -112
Seattle -140, U8 -120
Bets:
Oakland Athletics +164
Oakland/Boston Under 8.5 +100
Pitchers: Blanton/Schilling
Blanton has mastered pitching in Fenway and has dominated in both his starts there. Schilling will do well also but Oakland's offense isn't as bad as it seems and I think they could get a few and win a 4-3 or 3-2 type game.
Detroit Tigers -129
Pitchers: Durbin/Loewen
Durbin is far from a sure thing but after he got hit by the White Sox he made adjustments and dominated them the next time out. He's already faced the O's once this year and if he pitches smart and makes the adjustments again, he should do decently. Loewen will likely get rocked by a Tiger team that can hurt lefties. He escaped from his last start against them with a nice ERA but put a million guys on base. I don't think he gets the same luck with the ERA this time around.
Minnesota Twins -107
Pitchers: Ponson/Jackson
I think both starters get rocked and leave fairly early, leaving this one to the pens. At -107 on the Minnesota pen versus the horrid Tampa pen, you know I'm on it.
Texas Rangers +137
Pitchers: Loe/Hughes
Kansas City Royals +115
Kansas City/Anaheim Under 8.5 +100
Pitchers: Greinke/Colon
