Record: 45-59
Profit: -16.07
Predicted Lines:
Florida -135, U8 -120
Baltimore -120, U8.5 -122
Detroit Pk, 9.5 Pk
Bets:
Washington Nationals +147
Washington/Florida Under 9 -120
Pitchers: Hill/Olsen
Both Hill and Olsen have looked very good this year and I expect both of them to put in excellent performances yet again. Washington can't hit at all and Florida has started to get into a slump. Somehow, I think a young guy who has been pitching well who they have never seen is the remedy. Florida may be without Miguel Cabrera which will only make this bet stronger. The Nats are a live dog at a good price in what should be a game where runs are hard to come by.
Baltimore/Toronto Under 9 -110
Pitchers: Cabrera/Burnett
Cabrera looks like he has finally got his control issues solves and if he does, he's as scary as any pitcher in the game. Toronto has slipped up a little bit with their bats lately and Baltimore is a pretty big park. Without Glaus in the lineup, I think this young hurler turns in a good one. Burnett is another guy that can be extremely dominant at times. His problems aren't with control, but with staying healthy. Right now he's healthy and the O's offense hasn't impressed me at all. Bullpens are a little scary but I like the starters to go at least 7 innings each.
