10. Airplane!

It's a little corny but in a good way. This one has stood the test of time and is better than any of that Monty Python bullcrap that people love so much. For anyone waiting on Monty Python to make the list... I wouldn't count on it. Plus Airplane! has Kareem in it so it's technically a sports movie as far as I'm concerned.

9. Raising Arizona

It's a story about Nicholas Cage stealing a baby and if that isn't reason enough to make a movie then I don't know what is. This was one of the first comedy movies that both me and my parents liked and it's still funny to this day.

8: Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby

Nascar as a sport makes me fall asleep but a movie about it with Will Farrell and Sasha Baron Cohen is funny as all hell.

7. Bad Santa

I know there are people on this forum who don't really like this movie but it's right up my alley. It's vulgar and crude but Billy Bob does a great job as a sex-obsessed mall Santa. Plus it has a midget in it which gave the movie bonus points in my messed up rating system.

6. Anchorman

The 2nd of 3 Will Farrell movies that made my top ten list, this one is as quotable as any. "Go back to your home on whore island" and "Spanish for "whale's vagina" just never get old to say.

5a. Super Troopers
5b. Superbad

These two get grouped together because they both have the word "Super" in their titles, plus I couldn't eliminate any of the 11 I had left for the list.

I haven't really been pleased with the movies that Broken Lizard has put out lately (although Club Dread was a solid movie), but Super Troopers kicks ass. Too bad all cops aren't like these guys.

Superbad may be low for some (I know people that think it's the greatest movie ever) and if I could take only the first half of the film, I might put it top 3. Most of it is extremely funny but the fact that it is so needlessly long knocks it down.

4. Borat

This might be the most quoted movie of all time and it's funny from start to finish. The naked hotel wrestling scene is something I could do without but everything else about this movie cracks me up.

3. Animal House

This movie brought comedy to an entirely different level and remains a classic to this day. Plus I'm pretty sure this flick invented the toga party and that is to be respected.

2. Forgetting Sarah Marshall

I have watched this movie about once a week since it came out. It's nearly as quotable as Borat and has a great cast of characters who all excel at their playing their parts. This is one of the greatest comedies ever made and a must-watch for anyone who likes explicit sex comedies.

1. Old School

I just couldn't knock this movie off the top spot. The last of the Will Ferrell movies gets top billing and I don't know a single person out there who doesn't like this movie. 3 middle-aged men start a frat and craziness ensues; Old School is a classic and should be in everyone's collection.

Dumb and Dumber barely missed the top ten. It's a great movie that's top 20 but just missed the list.

As far as Step Brothers, I liked the movie (I actually own it) but it's not top 10 material. As much as I like Will Farrell and John C. Reilly, they use the same joke over and over. Good flick, not great.

Billy Madison and Adam Sandlers movies in general are okay watches but I can't see any in the top ten. Tommy Boy and Joe Dirt, same thing. I only had room for one goofy comedy type movie and Airplane! went in over Spaceballs.

All good suggestions but I don't think any are truly worthy of such a prestigious honor.

It's the 10 best I've witnessed. There are some 80's flicks on there too. Older than that though and it just doesn't cut it anymore as far as I'm concerned. Some of the daily lists are going to have to be subjective.

What would you have on the list that I left out?

Wow... your top ten is bad...Borat and FSM were garbage. I actually fell asleep in the theatre watching Borat....no Tommy Boy on the list?...Billy Madison should have been on here..Office Space? Wedding Crashers? National Lampoons Christmas Vacation?.....There are alot more to consider....
