He also had a player named Bryant. If i recall, Flip saunders took some crap twolves teams to the playoffs too with a player named Garnett and no one else a few times. bottom line, Jackson's shitting the bed.

from what ive seen, phil has gotten complacent and forgets about players. doc sticks to a rotation, is making key changes, and is simply out coaching phil. i rolled my eyes when you said vujicic, farmar, and turiaf were a cut above d-league and that phil jackson was purposely throwing the game.

are you nuts. doc rivers has no rotation. he hasn't had one all season, nevermind the playoffs.

not saying docs doing a bad job, but to say he sticks to a rotation is laughable.

I'd say if this went to court there be a great chance for a conviction. A conviction for what? Jackson sabotaging his team.

Even if you can ignore everything and somehow call what Jackson did normal (which it clearly isn't). The kicker is Fisher and the fact that he kept him out of the game until it was basically out of reach. It's like he was waiting for the Celtics to take control before he put him in. Fisher, the one guy besides Kobe with extensive championship experience. Fisher, a streaky shooter who was dead on in this game. Fisher, one of the best players at controlling tempo and settling his team down. It's too unbelievable.

I dont know about that. The fact is Phil Jackson is the most overrated coach in the history of the professional sports.

A year later LAL lost to SA by 15+ pts at home in a must win situation in the players

The championships mean nothing.

He had the best players(Pippen and Jordan the top 2 defensive players in the NBA) and Shaq and Kobe

The fact is a team coached by PJ must be much much better than the other team to win the finals and overcome his incompetency.

How much can a head coach impact an NBA Finals when the MVP of the league plays inconsistently and his 2nd best player takes the series off? Bottom line is that Pierce, Garnett and Allen have stepped up and the Lakers stars have not.

Boston is playing with more energy and determination. However, after a long, grueling regular season and 3 playoff series, the Lakers have proven to be an elite team. Phil Jackson deserves at least as much credit for that as he does blame for probably coming up short in the Finals.

Dont you remember game 3? To start the 4th, Phil had all 5 reserves start the quarter and left them out there as Boston reeled off 12 straight. Boston had a few reserves out there too but always at least 1 of the big 3 out there at all times. Hey Phil, this is the NBA Finals,:smoker2: not some freakin lcd experiment. I cant recall if it was game three but i do recall that they never recovered from this coaching blunder. This makes me think it was game one or two since they won game three. Look it up!
