24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY is a thrilling new event series set to restart the ticking clock on the groundbreaking and Emmy Award-winning drama.

The high-octane saga reunites the Emmy Award-winning team of executive producer Howard Gordon; star and executive producer Kiefer Sutherland; co-creator Robert Cochran; executive producers, Evan Katz, Manny Coto, David Fury, Brian Grazer and director Jon Cassar. It also will retain the real-time, pulse-pounding, fast-paced format with split screens and interweaving storylines.

Set and shot in London, the suspenseful event series once again will follow the exploits of heroic agent JACK BAUER (Sutherland). Four years ago, Jack was a fugitive from justice. Now an exile, he nevertheless is willing to risk his life and freedom to avert yet another global disaster. Tracking Jack are CIA head STEVE HARRIS (Benjamin Bratt, “Law & Order”); CIA agent KATE MORGAN (Yvonne Strahovski, “Dexter”), who is both resourceful and ruthless; JORDAN REED (Giles Matthey, “Jobs”), a smart and sophisticated CIA computer tech; and ERIK RITTER (Gbenga Akinnagbe, “The Wire”), a sharp, strong and arrogant field operative. Calling the shots is JAMES HELLER (William Devane, “The Dark Knight Rises”), now President of the United States. Heller is flanked by his Chief of Staff MARK BOUDREAU (Tate Donovan, “Damages”), who is married to Heller's daughter – Jack's former flame, AUDREY (Kim Raver, “Revolution”). Meanwhile, a hardened CHLOE O'BRIAN (Mary Lynn Rajskub, “Firewall”), Bauer's CTU confidante, is now working underground with high-profile hacker ADRIAN CROSS (Michael Wincott, “The Crow”). Guest stars on 24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY include Golden Globe Award winner Judy Davis (“Life with Judy Garland”) and Golden Globe Award nominee Stephen Fry (“Alice in Wonderland,” BONES). The harrowing day will have Jack attempting to thwart an unthinkable terrorist attack that could change the world forever.

Originally premiering November 6, 2001, “24” was nominated for a total of 73 Emmy Awards, winning for Outstanding Drama Series in 2006. Over eight seasons, Sutherland garnered seven Emmy Award nominations and one win for Outstanding Lead Actor – Drama Series. The series also earned 12 Golden Globe Award nominations, winning for Best Television Series – Drama in 2004, and Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Drama (Sutherland) in 2002. While “24” gained global recognition, Sutherland's portrayal of the legendary character penetrated the American psyche to become part of the cultural lexicon.

24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY is a production of Teakwood Lane Productions in association with 20th Century Fox Television and Imagine Television. Howard Gordon, Evan Katz, Manny Coto, David Fury, Robert Cochran, Brian Grazer, Jon Cassar and Kiefer Sutherland will executive-produce. The original series, which had its last American broadcast on May 24, 2010, was created by Joel Surnow and Cochran.

Chloe went from looking nerdy and ugly to hot.
Kind of like the band camp girl on American Pie.

[h=1]TV highlights: Jack Bauer is back in ‘24: Live Another Day’[/h]

[h=3]By Rachel Lubitz,[/h]
SERIES PREMIERE: Jack is back in a big way on the 12-episode reboot “24: Live Another Day” (Fox at 8 p.m.). In the two-hour opener, counterterrorism expert Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) is being tracked by the CIA and he has exactly 24 hours to make things right, with the help of Chloe (Mary Lynn Rajskub), of course.

I really enjoyed watching "24" in its original season.....back in 2003. However, after a few episodes they all seemed to be the same thing. A terrorist has some dangerous threat and Jack Bauer manages to defuse the situation at the last minute. Has anything changed since then?

(I can't believe it's been 11 years since it first started.)

Nice to have '24" back. No question I would tape NBA and watch Jack. He'd know if you put NBA about "24". Don't want to mess with Jack.

Was pretty good IMO

I won't post any spoilers, because some have taped it. But there is a Great line by one of the new guys, when he's talking to Jack and saying How good he was..... "Back in the Day"

anyway, I have to wish, pray and hope this is not the Final of Finals. If the rating are Great, they Must bring it back somehow.

It's the only show I will preempt sports over. Unless it's the Super Bowl, saints or World Series everything else has to wait.
only show that I have seen every single episode

[h=1]TV ratings: '24: Live Another Day' makes solid debut [/h]The heavily promoted return of Jack Bauer got off to a solid start in the ratings Monday.

Fox's two-hour premiere of "24: Live Another Day" averaged 8 million viewers and earned a rating of 2.5 among key 18- to 49-year-olds, according to early numbers from Nielsen.
In the 12-episode revival of the hit counter-terrorism action-drama that ended its run in 2010, Kiefer Sutherland reprises his role as super-agent Jack Bauer, who comes out of hiding in London to thwart another terrorist attack.

The 2.5 in 18-49 is down about 11% from the eighth and final season finale four years ago, and considering the drop in overall network television viewership over the years, a 2.5 looks better today than it would have in 2010. The most recent "24" Monday debut, in 2010 following a Sunday premiere, scored a 3.5 in 18-49.

Season 8 of "24" averaged a 2.8 in 18-49 and 9.1 million viewers, total.

Does anyone know if an encore presentation of last nights episode is airing anytime this week? I left Friday to travel back east for a funeral and forgot it was airing last night so never set it up to tape. I did get to watch it last night with my Mom but it was one of those episodes id like to watch again.

There are only 2 kinds of people in this world.
1) people who love 24
2) people who have never watched 24
