He is the worst qb going, just not NFL caliber. Only pass he gets is if bench insisted on pass play in that situation...even still he is the qb and vetos it with bootleg for 2 yard loss. The ball only leaves your hand for a w i d e open rcvr with no defender within a mile. How many second stringers watch the tapes on this guy and pull their hair out? Anyone remember Joe Pisarcik gift wrapping one for Eagles way back when? This is just behind it in the Gift dept.

I can't slightly understand the play call if you have a Brady/Manning/etc type QB. But, good god that has to be the worst play call of the season.

The fact that Dick Jauron allowed that play to go out there. He should be fired.

Favre ought to kiss Losman's butt....Jones should be the workhorse on this Jet's team...

Correction, Favre should kiss the Bills offensive coordinator's ass; pass on 2nd and 5 from your own 20 when your trying to eat clock with a fucking pig QB? GREAT CALL.

jauron took blame for that one as he overrided what was originally going to be a running play. that will probably be the decision that cements his future as a coach out of a job a few weeks from now.

What a bad coaching decision. The worst part was they had jsut sucessfully ran and on four straight plays despite the Jets knowing they were gonna run. It's not like they needed to try to be tricky and keep them guessing. It was 2nd and 5. Run it twice and get a first down.

I can name at least 3 Buffalo games that were lost on coaching ALONE. (Cleveland, SF, NYJ.)

Good bye, Jauron...

You must have missed last thurs nights Pierre Thomas sweep around right end on 4th and short .....Gain of -4 i think. And worse thats at least 4 times this season Peyton has run that same play in short yardage and its lost yardage EVERYTIME!!!

When I was rehabbing my knee 3 years ago, my PT''s boyfriend was Buffalo's TE coach and said Losman couldnt understand the playbook so they had to modify much of it for him. Not the sharpest tool in the shed.

The pass call was brillant because the clock was stoped on the play before that with a TO by the Jets with 2:04 left on the clock.

No matter what was going to happen on that play the clock was going to stop at 2 mins weather or not the Bills passed or ran on that play.

The Bills were probably thinking that the Jets were thinking that they were going to run the ball 100% and sellout.

It was a great idea since the 2min warning was going to stop the clock after the play even if they ran the ball.

It was a good idea with poor execution.

Bottom line is at the end of the play there was going to be 2mins left no matter if it was a running play or an incomplete pass.

The play call was smart, the execution was bad.

If there would have been 2:20 left in the game the pass would have been stupid, but since there was only 2:04 the pass did not make any difference when it came to trying to run the clock out.

What better time to throw a PA pass then when the other team is almost 100% convenced that you are going to run?

You are WRONG--the play call was STUPID. You are looking at the clock ONLY. You were putting the play in LOSERMAN'S Hands. He could execute that if he was playing a HS team--he is down right DUMB. He is one of the worst 1st Round picks--and the Bills are becoming famous for them.
If the Bills are going to establish ANY identity it is with the run--they need to run Beast Mode 2 times and then punt if needed. Their D didn't allow a 4th Q 1st down and had settled down.

Certainly would help the Pats if the Jets lost, but given that the Dolphins and the Jets face each other on the last week-end, one of them is definitely going to lose another game. Pats have to hope the Ravens lose another game I think.

As for the play, the Jets were completely helpless on run defense. They knew the run was coming, but they still couldn't stop it. Bills had gained about 187 yards on the ground. They had 2 chances to gain 5 yards.

Dick Juran = Dick Moron
