If this was NFL or NBA I would have no problem.....

I'll shoot 2 guys $20 Each via Paypal if they have it or mail to volunteer to grade the scores on this and make sure they both have the same numbers......

i'll do one as well, don't worry about the $20 though. You are plenty genreous to put your cards up for grabs for our entertainment. By the way, I hope I won, those cards are awesome!

The Point System will be very simple:

Batters:
Walk = 1 Point
Single = 1 Point
Double = 2 Points
Triple = 3 Points
Home Run = 5 Points
(Errors are irrelevant. If a batter reaches base(s), he is awarded the points above.)

Pitchers:
Strikeout = 2 Points
Innings Pitched = 1 Point
(Innings Pitched Will Be Broken Down By Outs: If Pitcher A lasts for 6 Innings with 1 out, he is awarded 6.3 Points. This will help also in preventing a tie)

does a pitcher getting on base result in additional points for that player? It's only a 1-2 point difference, and probably won't affect the outcome, but I thought I should ask.

Just post it here guys......

Have to make sure your numbers agree with one another.......

If I knew the players on each team much better I would run through it.
Better keep the tallies of each batter/pitcher in case you disagree somewhere so you can compare and easily find the difference.
Will teach me to stick with NFL and NBA.....lol

If nobody can do it, I'll still do it of course, just thought it would be easier for a couple that knew who they were looking for in each box score....

Thanks guys, and the $ is yours for doing it......

I had this done without the individual #s before I read your post. If need be, I can go back. Maybe I'll just list the players totals afterward. I do have them. I included pitchers points for reaching base. This affected those with Prior, Vazquez, and Smoltz on their roster. IT DID NOT afect the outcome.

There are a couple differences. The Sweeney error is the only one that matters. He had 2 hr and walked, totaling 11 pts. Sheffield should be 7, you are correct. Prior should be 19 if you don't count his double, I'm not sure how I got 20. Sosa reached on an error, giving him a point.
