J.J. BASCUS NOTES & PICKS & GROUP PICKS

This is a must-win situation for the Chicago Bears. Chicago will be going up against the playoff-bound Detroit Lions in this matchup. Although Chicago hasn’t been blowing teams out of the water, Detroit has the No. 1 scoring defense in the NFL and shouldn't have much trouble with that inconsistent Bears offense. The Westgate opened the early Thanksgiving game at Detroit -6, adjusting the spread up a half-point within a half-hour of posting it. The Wynn hung -7 (even). The Lions are in an against-the-spread funk, covering just one of their last five games. They return home after losing two in a row on the road. Chicago has won two straight, and its playoff hopes remain alive. The Lions offense has been better at home. Chicago needs some serious help to make the playoffs at this point. Pick Bears +7 To Many Points To Lay
A huge game in the NFC East and the first of two meetings within three weeks between these rivals. If you’re not watching football by the time the Eagles take the field against the Cowboys, you’re blowing it. Premier offenses, massive playoff implications (the winner will take sole possession of the AFC East lead), and Dez Bryant. Dallas has had the upper hand in this series in recent seasons despite the Eagles generally being the more successful team overall. Dallas is 3-1 over these teams last four showdowns, with the lone loss being the teams’ last meeting in Week 17 last season that pushed the Eagles into the playoffs and the Cowboys out. Tony Romo didn’t start that game, and will be eager to exert his will against Mark Sanchez and Philadelphia. The road team has covered in four of these teams’ last five meetings, while the over is 5-0-1 in the Cowboys’ last six games in November. Dallas opened -3 flat before the Westgate tweaked the juice to -3 even. CG Technology was dealing -2.5 on Sunday night. Pick Dallas-3 This Game will a High scoring game from both teams
San Francisco on Sunday won its third straight game, but failed to cover in a 17-13 home win over Washington. Sherman vs. Crabtree has lost some of its caches, with the receiver struggling in his contract year. The game is very important for both teams, considering their upcoming schedules and their standing in the NFC West. At 9-2, the Arizona Cardinals lead each team by two games in the division, and a wild-card berth is the most likely route for the Seahawks and 49ers to make the postseason. Seattle might have the better chance of winning the division, considering they beat Arizona on Sunday and have one more matchup with the Cardinals. However, it won’t be easy for the Seahawks to get the 11 wins that might be required to make the playoffs, since they entered Week 12 with the most difficult remaining schedule. San Francisco is at a disadvantage in the division, having already lost to the Cardinals. The two teams have been mirror images of each other in the past few seasons. Led by young quarterbacks, strong running games and elite defenses, Seattle and San Francisco have won their games in very similar ways. Crabtree does not have more than 85 receiving yards in a game this season, he can't do much downfield, with his 11.8 average per catch worst of his career and he's behind even Anquan Boldin on the team . Is this the game Vernon Davis wakes up? This has been a lost season for the 49ers' dynamic tight end and he couldn't even get it going against a poor Skins secondary last week. Just 21 catches and two touchdowns all season, Seattle closed the distance with West-leader Arizona by beating the Cardinals at home, 19-3. CG Tech opened San Fran -1.5. Pick: This Game Is To Close To Call With My Rating At 1/2 point/NO BET

J.J.> Closest Projected Game: Seattle at San Francisco: No Bet

J.J..>Best Chance (team to win by the spread: Bears+7

~OUR PICKS~

J.J. Bascus: Dallas-3 & Chicago +7

System Smitty Ryan: Dallas-3

Back Room Benny The Jew Dallas-3
HarryThe Hat: Dallas-3

Bee Bee Black Widow: Bears +7 Cutler doesn't follow the stats, either, but he can attest to how Forte has helped the Bears answer opposing defenses that have prioritized covering Pro Bowl receivers Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery.

POOL BET> Dallas-3 ** J.J & Smitty& Benny& Harry & Bee Bee}

Good luck Harry. I have been leaning Eagles but may reconsider. I agree that this game will be high scoring. I may just double my wager on the over and leave the side alone. Good luck and I hope you all have a good holiday.

As Lee Corso likes to say during Game Day picks......Good Pick, lol. Some jackass for the Beagles (intentionally misspelled) claimed the Dallas O-line wasn't any good, LOL. Mistake, they gonna make the flock pay. GL Harry and thanks for the plays.

I agree Donger. If Cutler can hold his head just ever so slightly out of his ass..... the over should be there.

Man, Chi has screwed me this year when taking them. I did manage to win with them last week, but it's painful backing them.

Harry wishing you and the gang a Happy Thanksgiving...Thanks again for your and your gangs input

Yours in Winners

*****Personally I'll be pounding Dallas and the OVER!!!...I'll be passing the Detroit/Chicago game(although I like DETROIT at home) because I wouldn't put .05 on the Bears, Cutler and their lack of defense. They have won back-to-back games vs ballon head teams both at home and have not looked convincing or in sync in either game. I wish everyone who follow the gang the best who wager on the Bears, but BernieV will pass on them

GO COWBOYS!!!!....and FLY OVER THE TOTAL!!!
