Not jealous at all (well maybe warrens $) i do very well for myself. But my question is real. This trickle down money was tried in the past and failed. Why do you think itll work now. Big buisness has (for the most part) no moral or ethics. Why should they get special treatment?
I disagree with the premise of your argument. The 80's were awesome and there were no new industries or technologies that carried that decade either. It was so damn good, the Republicans held the White House for 12 years.
The surpluses of the late 90's were created after Clinton finally signed Newt's budget, a budget the democrats campaigned against (but later take credit for a bill they voted against)
W cut taxes in 01 and 02, again the economy surged for the next four years
Obama increased taxes and regulations, he owns the GD II. The worst extended period of economic growth since the 30's
And now Trump's economy is surging simply by cutting regulations and making the country more business friendly.
