Is it possible its time to think about making a move? Players don't need this. (I am not talking about the "DoS attack")

Bill,
Guys around here know the score with this book. Always been good guys there but they can't reach into the Dutch owners pockets.

Over the last few years the Dutch did put in a ton of money only to see it missmanaged away. Last year Roberto was the saviour who convinced them to ante up one more time. Can he and Kevin convince the Dutch to do it again? It won't be easy but I think they can. Royal needs a couple of solid months to show the investors.

At least that's my uneducated opinion..

Buzz,

I know it hasn't been smooth sailing the past couple mos. Bigger players have had issues that the avg player can't relate to nor do they understand the business aspect.

My problem is my very small net has actually found some slow-pays in it.

It is one thing for the high rollers to take their calculated risk but its another for the group to start feeding BS to the other players who are trying offshore for the first time.

Its time for this site to stop pretending to care and acknowledge Royal doesn't represent the gaming experience one should have.

I think your opinion is hardly uneducated.

I also think you give Roberto too much credit. He is a nice guy but I don't believe he drove the armored truck into the parking lot by any means.

From a business aspect it is very interesting but from a players stand point there is too much risk that is not being addressed.

You could say that with a lot of books in the coming year or two I am sure. Lots of competition and players with higher and higher expectations. With the assorted troubles there have been people who are on super-alert almost looking for trouble. If they find the least bit of it they go public with it and expect others to see a fire as well. On rare occasions there is a fire, but more times than not there is just some misunderstanding.

Nice comment there. And is it any wonder intelligent people don't want to bother posting here? You put up a comment about how you think Royal is having problems, as if you were inviting people you wanted some commentary. What you should have said is "only come comment in this thread if you agree 100% with me otherwise F-OFF".

WildBill,

For one thing.. Don't be so sensitive. You stated your opinion and I then replied that you were down playing the facts.

Wasn't it you telling people to buck up when Royal bought GA?

Look, I told you specificly of people getting screwed.. right now! I have their account numbers in front of me. So if you want to generalize this with fire drill analogies and labeling them misunderstandings atleast take it like a man.

BucsFan,
What are you my personal editor now? WTF

I have no idea what is going on at Royal and I can take anything. I was just pointing out responses like that are costing us valued opinions. Opinions are rarely any good if all you get are people that do nothing but agree with you. I have heard about the Royal issues and I in no way am here to stand up for them per se, but you came in here with nothing but "hey I got some people telling me they aren't getting paid". How come these people don't come forward and post the details? How come you don't give Royal a chance to refute what you say? It isn't just Royal, this applies to any book out there. It is far too easy for any poster with an agenda to take shots at a book and far too hard for a book to defend themselves. I don't stand up for Royal or anyone else in particular, I stand up for the industry as a whole. I even said that there would be problems, but to come and take random shots at a book without proof isn't proving any problems and will just make it more difficult for the many honest people out there working. They can't even say anything in here without getting labeled "shill", but anyone can just create an identity and take a shot at someone and lots of people come rushing in without even demanding much proof. Velton was the first to meet that level of disclosure and guess what, they settled it. No it wasn't settled in the quickest way possible, but it was settled.

To come in here or anywhere else and just say a book is a shit book because I know someone isn't paid instantly there does a disservice to every single person here except those fronting an agenda . That is my two cents, say what you want, flame me all you want. I just can't believe that posters here in general are wanting a world where about three books exist with kudos and the others get nothing but bad PR from people that won't even fully disclose what their issue is or what their agenda is.

Wild,

A+ job derailing this thread.

Anyone who has read my posts know that I have NEVER even posted a rumor. I may have questioned or made an opinion but nothing unfounded or baseless.

Anyways...
2 players have been denied book to book transfers as "we are just informed we are not doing them at this time". During the DOS they said they couldn't do transfers because of DOS.

BTW, I'm not going to get into a flame war with you so there is an excuse to delete this thread.

Bill curious who WAS doing btb transfers.
I dont think anyone has done them with them for quite some time.
If your talking between 107/royal/ga thats something else and Id be surprized if they did not allow that.
The DDOS is another story Im not sure if maybe there was a misunderstanding on whether it is real but maybe they are in too deep on that story to back off that one now.

Bill,
I don't think anyone expects Rx paid employees to speculate about a sponsor. I doubt they teach that as good business stradegy at the Wharton School of Business.

I'm a little worried. They are no longer just stringing out bigger winners, they have changed their payout rules to delay payments. They need a powerful March.

Pickles,
They did transfers, offered to do transfers during the DOS and now saying they can't even attempt them right now.

Buzz,
My last 3 posts that this place deleted weren't obscene. I think I'm being edited for humor now. I'm not allowed to have an opinion so I guess I will try to avoid giving reasons to edit the facts.

Anyways...
Is your plate full with them? If you have room to inquire for more Royal players that would be good.

Tomarrow I am supposed to learn more about how this waiting list will be decided.
