Judge,

Seriously, I like you a lot but the LAKERS are a LOCK to win it all...

Now, they just need to go through the motions because the league requires the teams to play best of sevens and generate more money for them...

Read my lips...

IT'S OVER!!!

The party is on me baby!

Lakers are "GUARANTEED" not to win the championship this year! They are making a lot of players happy who picked them up at +1000 or +900 after the Spurs were up 2-0! Thats just to piss them off when they come so close but get beat in the end!

im slowly grinding to that school of thought also. . .the pistons. they really do have the goods to do it. they have the coaching, the size and talent. the fans also, they are not air headed they booed william hung. . .they could bang with LA, pacers style of play will do them in. they should have never let miami give them this much trouble. detroit will be like miami times 10 to them.

Ho hum, the Lakers win again...The Wolves are wounded and tired, the Kings crippled and the Spurs stopped playing after two games..

Give L.A. credit because they dug down and started playing defense the way they use to.

Shaq looks better than he has in 3 years...

Maybe Indy can steal game 1 and give everyone a glimmer of hope that the finals will not be so meaningless....doubtful!

Winkyduck was right...

that's so true. . .when larry brown went to war with them (LA) a few years back and had philly he had iverson, mutumbo and some decent role players. now he'd have a team with two very physical players in the two wallace's and even better role players with billups, prince and hamilton that can all score like iverson at given times and the athleticism and outside shooting of billups versus eric snow is a huge plus.

brown is a brainchild, just give him the toys to play with

jackson is a problem solver, just give him talent with problems to solve

There's always next year, like in 75, 90-93, 99 &

Unless the league goes with "Shaq's special ruleset" approach like they've been doing with those tuking Patriots.

Who knows? Maybe holding on to a guys shirt 10 yards downfield will actually be called holding this year (even if your a Pat).

Judge--You said it well. But still I think the Lakers have more overall talent.

Looking for a prop bet : Will the lakers lose another game this season? That would stir my interest.

The Lakers are a perfect fit for THE SHRINK! (Which personality will show up.)

One thing I have learned over the decades of NBA playoffs. There is a certain cause and effect. When the Lakers won swing game 5, the effects were Spurs were gone, Lakers were in. When the Lakers wrapped it up in #6, but the TWolfs took all 7, the effect was a emotionally drained and physically spent team, vs a well rested Laker squad. Now with the Lakers taking this tired team apart, it could again be a short series, very short if TWolfs drop Sunday's. Hard as it is to believe, the Lakers have covered 5 straight. So, if the Lakers win this quickly, game one was a key, and the later starting Easterners go 6 or 7, in what I predict is a very closely matched physical series, again, the rested Lakers will be waiting. TWolfs now fit the cliche, there is no rest for the weary...OF

So Shrink, how much are you locked in on the anybody-but-the-Fakers-to-win-the-championship prop? Must be a shitload with these over-the-top contrary attempts to jinx them.

Shrink, do the books pay you to get people to risk their bankrolls on your "locks" or did you say, "Hey, that PanAm deal didn't hurt my posters enough, maybe they can put all their money on a team that might or might not win it all".
